second line update on 2nd dec ....... still waiting for MR...
i have seen many lucky applicants getting MR between 10-15 days once the processing starts. and for many others it is a looongggg wait for MR....
single applicants get the MR quicker than a a application having 2 or more dependents..
any views by seniours.. will we see for forum mates getting MR before vacations ?

I didn't notice that at all :( On Ukrainian forum, people got medicals within 31—44 days, and they all have dependents. I am single, and on my 46th day of waiting… No MR bless for me so far :(

ASSALAM

HOW ARE YOU ALL? WOULD ANYONE TELL ME THE TIME (DAYS)OF DD ENCASHMENT TO PER MAIL.

Brking news..... Physical verification in kathmandu Nepal by ndvo..... Whts goin on....
How do you know that? Did they verify your's?

Lots of people, including me, are speculating why NDVO is not sending the PPR. Since there are hardly handful cases to deduce any pattern all of this seems like a random process. From what Diplomatru had posted a while ago, the local VO, after your meds is done, outsources the security checks through a third party (was it called IPA?) ... I am sure that the results obtained from this agency would take differing time for different cases depending on number of dependents, number of countries visited over the past 10 years (outside US would require more time to complete the check, possibly the most time taken for security checks for people who have visited and worked in middle eastern countries...just guessing).

As long as there is no "directive" given to NDVO to clear backlogs, I think that we will never see a "flood" or "rain" of PPR we all expect. Instead we will see a few cases intermittently get PPR from NDVO.

I hope I am really wrong !!!!

Cheers!

As dhanoa9015 is in Canada so he is more experienced.

But if I am at dhanoa9015 in place I have make sure I have PLAN B

I will try to enrolled in Part time MS along with my Temporary JOB.
Till I get decent I will keep my family in India.

But coming back in 1 year WITHOUT doing decent job means all PR efforts failed ...

Don't judge other people. Everyone's life is different

Dear Folks,
My eMedicals were uploaded on 27th Nov, and LVO (London visa office) received the police certificates and payment receipt on 8th Dec. Any idea what will happen next and when?
I am a bit worried as I didn't receive any feedback from them that they -physically- received my papers.
I would highly appreciate your advice.

Cheers everyone....

Hey Buddy,

Refer to Goku's response on 10921 page . Goku's response was in reference to a post by three star on 10920 page

SK - +1 to you and Goku. Coincidence or fate, I have been thinking about these kind of things for a couple of days meself. Nice of goku to "roku" our other friend :)
There are a lot of people who have had nothing but good things to say, and another lot who have nothing but bad things to vouch for.
I think it depends on:
1. your mental state at the time of writing the post.
Did you get dumped by that sexy blonde girl you thought you could go out with? Unless you have a REAL good personality with a FANTASTIC physical appearance, I doubt you could get far with that attitude. Of course buckets of cash are helpful for short term, too.
2. your initial expectations from Canada.
Some tend to think of Canada in terms of Hollywood movies or in terms of "Silencer" from "3 Idiots" of "My Lamborghini 6496 cc - very fast!" fame. You dont need just luck to get there mateys!
3. the reason for your immigration.
Did you move to work to support yourself and your family? Or have fun? Or take it easy and chill at night clubs all night for a month?
4. you level of preparation at the onset of your move.
I cannot think of one.... ONE person I know who went to Canada without talking to a few Canucks and employers and landed a job "luckily" - All the people I know have worked hard to get where they are - some have failed but stuck on and made it eventually - everyones path and speed are different but I dont think that should deter anyone!
5. how you handled what Canada threw at you in the form of challenges. I firmly believe if life gives you lemons, you should open a lemonade stall! :P

+1 +1 to you and Goku Saar!
Regards,
Rick

Buddy,

I do not think that VO's notifies when they receive the documents. Check with the courier company who delivered your documents to CIC Office.

Hi All,

Fed up of waiting for the MR, I am planning to write to NDVO, asking about the status of my application.

What do you think I should include apart from File number / Name/ DOB / Passport Number?

Also what subject should I mention?

How much time do they take to reply?
