I wonder if late applications (Nov/Dec) received under the current rules will suffer a fate of being pushed back to a snail's pace since FSWP 2014 ends on Dec 31, 2014 - especially for applications that haven't had CC/DD encashed as at Dec 31, 2014 much less sent to the respective Visa offices? Have CIC boosted their resources? :'(

I have a happy news to share. PER landed in my inbox around 3.25 AM SGT. Below are my timelines

App Received Date: 15-Sep-14
NOC: 2132
CC Charged: 30-Nov-14
PER: 15-Dec-14
SS Updated

Thanks to everyone who helped me in achieving this stage and all the best to one's who are awaiting for CC/DD, PER ,Medicals and PPR.

All i know is that they have some automated system for CC charge and PERs. They are all scheduled.

I am sending it directly to NDVO...via DHL...

VFS will take extra time to process in their system...If you want your passport back urgently without loosing time send it directly....

No I don't agree...See my file was received on 10th September 2014, NOC-4011 and no news till now(mode of payment-cc)....I am really hopeless now in my case...Anyways cannot help it God knows better.

I would like to have your advice on smt. I have my app. received by CIC last week. But my spouses passport's expiry date is July 2015. If our application be accepted, would we be able to change his passport before issuing the visa? Hope this wont lead a rejection..

That is fine. You can update them during mr,rprf,additional docu stage to inform of the changes.

I have applied from India for NOC 1123. My file was received on 29th of August and i was charged for fees on my credit card on 23rd of November but haven't got PER mail. Can somebody pls tell me how much time do they take before sending the mail?

Decision made status updated on the same day i received PPR...for NDVO decision made status means PPR receipt...
I think so...bcoz my status changed on the same day 12/12

but the mail content you posted, only mentions VFS in it.
