Buddy go for some specialist as FBI is takin now 80 days to declare the results , so instead of taking risks go to some specialist for finger prints , as these specialists took two copies of your finger prints which will further reduce the chances of rejection ...its just a suggestion :) I am not sure about scanned as almost all in forum send the hard copies to FBI for verification.

Thanks priyank.. i was also planning in the same manner only.. i checked with most of the courier companies here in dubai, no one is accepting passports to india.

Btw i saw one of ur post "prepaid courier to NDVO to send the passports back to some address in india", all courier companies provide this service or few only, please name them and what is the procedure to get it

Regards,

DHL, Fedex can do it...but use DHL only...with prepaid courier you can track your application every day so that you can get an idea...may be 15 days after passport submission...

Today i will courier my passport from India...Let hope that i can get back my passport soon...

Yes, my case was received by Mr. Donnie on October 14th 2014 at 11:26AM for NOC 0121.

sandeep7972 has just said that he got his "PER mail from CIC jus a few minutes back...."

"App Recieved - 24 september

DD encashed - 4th December

But is it really possible to get PER email at 4 a.m. Sydney local time? Do CIC guys work 24 hours a day? Does anybody know what their tipical working hours are?

In all legality, even an individual, if in possession of a Passport which does not belong to him/her, is considered illegal and more so while the person is carrying it across borders.

Therefore, if you do choose to send the passport to NDVO via an Individual (as you cannot courier cross border to India) make sure you provide that individual with a letter/affidavit of full consent stating that he/she is in possession of your passport with your full consent for so and so reason (a copy of PPR will help). The whole thing may sound going a bit overboard, but you can never be too cautious.

Also - I hope you are aware that NDVO will not mail the PP back to an address outside India. Therefore the above procedure applies during the return of the PP as well. NDVO will only mail to a domestic address.

You may also consider sending a request to NDVO to transfer your stamping to ADVO. You will have to provide a copy of work VISA and residential proof (DEWA/SEWA/EJARI etc). This has been done by applicants in the past and has worked for them although it may delay the whole thing by a couple of weeks (if you are too desperate).

Choose wisely. Good luck!

If you are not experienced in fingerprinting please dont do it at all .. main reson for FBI rejection is the quality of the finger prints
if you are an expert go ahead and print an FD 258 on A4 sheet ( atleast bond paper) ( assuming u have all the required stationary to get a good finger print)
if you are doing it yourself no need to provide official contact of the fingerprint taking place
if your country has live scan option (FBI autarized channeler) go ahead and use thier service ..

My take is to hire the services of a professional ... the turn around time is very slow from FBI so dont take risk

All the best Priyank and thanks for the info ... one more thing in ur PPR mail was it mentioned in how many days NDVO will send back ur passports... i remember someone saying NDVO mentioned they will send back passports in 10 days ( 7 days processing time + 3 Days transit).

All i know is that they have some automated system for CC charge and PERs. They are all scheduled.

do worry see mine i got -15 i don't care.
We are asking questions to each others if others give us - it do not mean our PER is in danger
+1 dear

Has the speed of processing MRs at NDVO reduced significantly or is it only me feeling this? Also, any idea whether they the activity level is going to reduce further in the last week of December. The website says they have holidays only on 25 and 26th, but a lot of people may be away on annual leaves etc.

P.S. I realize these are hypothetical questions and no one is really expected to know the answers. But this waiting game does make you a bit illogical and hope that you might get some whiff of info from anywhere. so, thanks a lot for your replies and apologies for posting such questions!!!

SOme one let me know, from what mail ID will we receive PER.. kindly let me know so tht i can be more alert, coz am more tensed now looking at my status.. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
