Friends, I have few questions on PCC -

1. I had sent the PCC with my application. The PCC was recently issued when I applied. I am expecting MR and RPRF now. What are the changes of NDVO asking for a fresh PCC with MR and RPRF requests?

2. Does it make sense for me to apply for fresh PCC and keep it ready now?

3. I had two sets of PCC and I had sent one set with my application. In case NDVO asks for PCC, can I provide the other set which I already have(it is 5 months old now)? or will I need a fresh one?

Mine is Encashed on 21st of nov-14 and still no news :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(... almost 25 days and going..

I am a bit worried as my 2nd line of update was done on 04 dec and its 15th now and I havent received MR . Does that means my file is up for some sort of background or job verification. Any idea what is happening ??

Hi,
if you have a UCI, then it is easy for CIC to attach the same to your prior documents.
if not, then send details like date of app, time recevied, full name, surname, address, telephone number, noc and then hopefully CIC can link up the fresh documents with the previous ones.

I need to get PCC in Chennai. Please help.
1) My address in passport doesnt match with that of my current residing address.
2) I have enough address proof for my current residing address.
3) I dont want to go in for a address change at this moment .
Kindly tell me what are the possible ways to get PCC which is accepted by CIC?

Ok figured out the travel history issue. My friends WES ECA made a mistake with her name adding a middle name that isn't a part of her name. Will that cause a major issue?

Option 1. Attach an affidavit stating both names are of the same person.
Option 2. Attach a cover letter stating this whole thing (citing that you don't want to delay the application)

I am wondering (& will anyone) why would WES just add a middle name; is this middle name on your friend's certificates; since that is the only logical explanation. If WES has "CONJURED" this middle name, I believe that is very irritating; in fact just reading about it is annoying, so I strongly recommend don't just let them off the hook and ask a good "WHY?"
