Hello Everyone,

I have few more queries :

- I have already received my PER on 26th Nov. Status on CIC website shows 'in process'
- What is approximate time before i get a request for Medical tests ?
- After receiving the MR can i choose the medical centers ? (From the list of approved centers) or do i have to compulsorily go to the one in my state ?
- Considering everything goes well and i am granted a PR, what is the time limit in which i have to reach Canada or my PR permit gets expired ? i.e no. of day.
- My wife's IELTS will expire on Jan 24th. Should i make her appear for new IELTS or is it ok since i have already received the PR ?
- If i get a PR, i intend to study further for a year. Is it officially allowed under PR or do i have to necessarily work after landing in Canada ?

Please clarify on the above points or add anything you think is relevant to the above points.

Regards,

even i was not asked for ppr1 but i sent as i have updated mine and my daughter's passport!!!
I think you are referring to passport bio pages and not PPR.

Yes, if there are any changes in any of your family passports who are part of fsw2014 then yes you need to send new passport bio pages which you already did.

Hope this clarifies your post :)

In my case, i had sent the PCC with my application.
What are the changes of NDVO asking for a fresh PCC with MR and RPRF requests?

Depends on date of PCC
(1) IF PCC was older than 3 Months while applying- They can ask for a Fresh one.
and
(2) IF the PCC self expires prior or during the processing ( IN some countries the validity is Six month and in Some One year) they will ask for fresh PCC>

if above conditions are not breached , I think they will not ask for fresh PCC.

Dear friends,

I have taken my Pcc on 10-june-2014 from
Chennai and placed the same along with the package as well.
My details are below:
App received at cic- 30 June 2014
Per received date : 27 oct 2014.
VO : NDVO
Now I am waiting for MR.

My current PCC IS CROSSED 6 months already. What you think ? Whether I have to take a new one to submit along with Mr ?

Please share your thoughts who has already gone through the same situation.

Greetings

My file is in NDVO but we are in Canada, so were worried if passport request comes how we can travel leaving job for uncertain period.

Thanks in advance

Regards

ALKASAMIR and LORDHELP

Question number one- Are you sure where is your file, Have you got any confirmation ?
in my case I was in CANADA while I applied and I thought that my file was transferred to OTTAWA
but when I sent a CSE to OTTAWA as well as NEW DELHI- I was surprised to know that my file
was already transferred to NDVO.
Please check by sending CSE to both OTTAWA and NDVO (I got reply in Six days from NDVO and nine days from Ottawa)
and once you are sure where your file actually is, decide your next step.

They haven't enquire yet...

Any ideas???

Hey... To the best of my knowledge, if you're working for a big company, they might not contact your employer ... and even if they do, you'll probably not get to know ....

Best of luck for the process.. !!

hi,
its seems to be a false entry as the completeness check for Oct would have been done in the last 2-3 weeks only ..... and it takes at least 30 days Via CIC snail mail, mebbe more before the application reaches its owner after being returned by CIC.

secondly if the CAP was reached, CIC would have updated it like 3012 ( registered nurses) but only 3012 has been updated ... no others.

thirdly as per trends .... early Nov application would be covered within the CAP

however I could be totally wrong lol ....

i am calculating on basis of timeline of the application returned. If a 9th Oct was returned and the applicant was in USA it would easily take 2 weeks(Europe and Eastern countries may take 30 days or more) for the app. to reach back. That means the CAP was reached more than 2 weeks ago before the SS was updated. There have been 2 updates by CIC within that period. So, I guess CIC wouldn't miss updating the CAPPED NOC in 2 notifications.

hope my analysis is correct for my sake as well as all other 2132 applicants.

cheers
[blue] are you by any chance related to dilsher singh buttar ?

1 - Is there any activity on processing files in London VO during December due to Christmas / New Year or it will start early next year? - Work continues except for the declared holidays. - OK thanks
2 - PCC were sent to Sydney, CIC office later on, between CC debit date and PER email date - PER email states file will be moved to LVO. Question is, will the PCC be sent automatically? Also, the PCC were received by CIO within the normal 6 month time frame. However, if the LVO processes my file after 2 months, this may expire! Your thoughts? - At the time of sending initial application, if PCC was less than 3 months old, then you are safe, else you may be asked again for PCC. - PCC were sent to Sydney just days before receiving PER email. According to PER email, file will be moved to LVO. Question is whether Sydney office will send the PCC to LVO or not?
3 - At the time of application, one of my son was under 18 years. Now he has crossed the age. Do i have to update any document or inform CIO? - Have you got PER ? - Yes it was mentioned in my text
If yes, inform VO immediately, else inform CIC/ CIO immediately and you may be required to provide necessary docs to CIC for your son. If you knew your son would be 18 yrs soon, then docs should have been provided earlier itself.
.
- I disagree with the last statement brother - There are many forms and formalities that don't need to be completed if children are minors at the time of application.

I was also worried for the same thing
but
Even if your case is processed at place X and at the end during PPR you are at place B
you can request VO at place A to allow you to submit your PP at place B.
but please note
(1) You need to be at place B legally.
(2) You must be planning to be at place B for at-least three months after submission of PP at place B.
I have no first hand experience of this situation but the above statement is based on
some research that was done in my own case.

So the answer is NO you do not have to leave your job, You do not have to go to India
once you get PPR you can request as per above.
I hope above will be helpful.

Hello guys,

i received PER mail last month and my file is most probably transferred to NDVO.

As for two family members the funds required are $14097 and for three members, it increases to 18000$.

As i am expecting my new born in this month, so it means that i will have to show increased amount i.e. $18000 to NDVO ?

Or they will accept my previously shown proof of funds of $15000.?

Seniors please please clarify
:'(

[move]I GOT MR REQUEST

:D :D :D :D :D :D

God is sssoooo goooodd! ;D

will update SS later

Thank you :)
