Neha,

Please do not play with forumites emotions here, what we doing here is trying to help everyone and also to an extent ease everybody' tensions. I am sure you must be aware of the saying "What goes around comes around".

Many of us are tensed and worried everyday as to what is going to happen next and "YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SITUATION.

There are a lot of people in this forum who are depending on this Canadian PR and desperately need it for reasons known to them. So the least you can do is honestly report what you know or else keep quiet and let others who are sincerely posting here for the welfare of others do their job.

If you too are an applicant awaiting your turn to hear good news, how would you feel if someone screwed it up for you by posting some horse *censored word*.

u r absolutely right buddy.....there are more than 90% people who are not doing immigration just for hobby or out of some excitement.....people have their own very imp reasons and it means everything to them....they just cant lose out on it......so no one has the right to play with them in any ways.....I strongly condemn this thing and I don't think people like this person even deserve to enter in Canada even if this is not fake.

SECOND LINE UPDATED TODAY

Dear Friends,

Firstly Iam very thankful to the people who are helping each other in this forum.

Date of Application: 5 Aug
Date of PER: 27 Nov

There are three applicants in my case, myself , wife and child

Iam staying abroad since 2009, wive and child since 2012, when I was in India in June 2014, I applied for PCC from PSK, by the time it got approved I left India. But I can collect it from India in January 2015.

I have not applied for PCC of wive and child in PSK, India.

I want to know shall I take PCC from PSK / Local Police only

or

PCC from Consulate / Embassy is equally valid for NDVO

Which option would be better?
1. Take my PCC from PSK India and take PCC for Wive and child at Consulate of India in Dubai
2. Three of us go to India and apply at PSK India ( we can only go in mid of Jan, due to work reasons) only for 10 days we can go
3. Take PCC for three of us from Consulate of India in Dubai

Secondly,

I want to know that, which is readily accepted by NDVO

1. PCC issued by Consulate General Of India
2. PCC from Embassy of India
3. PCC for Passport Seva Kendra
4. PCC from Local SP of police

My PCC is approved and ready, only I need to go India, in 1 day I will get it, but spouse and child need to apply.

Plz answer my question

Thanks a lot

It's too early to contact CIC. Wait for at least 3-4 months. I received my application number after 4 months from the date of delivery. Due to high volume of applications, it may be delayed.

Hi Vikas,

Standard timelines are 10 weeks from the time your application has been received. Even if you call them through Phone, they will tell you the same.

Please refer to the Charge date estimates tab under FSWP 2014 Spreadsheet: http://tinyurl.com/FSW14-Spreadsheet for more detailed information.

Hope this helps.

Hi,
Please provide some email ids of CIC i need to contact them as I have not received the file.
I will be needing the documents for express entry.

More over there is no update about my file.

Reply-->Reply-->Reply-->Reply-->Reply-->

If you already know that you are application has been sent back. Then CIC cannot assist you with tracking the package.

Returned applications are sent through Canadian Post and there is no tracking number provided for it. (it takes approx 80 days or so to reach india from the time CIO returns the app)

CIC would not answer your questions but CIO will answer your mail after 45 - 50 days once you send it (My email query was sent on 20th Oct and i received a reply on 10th December)

CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca (remove the spaces). That is the mailbox for sending queries.

I know this wont sooth the situation you are in but at-least you will know what to expect.

Regards
Sk

PCC is required for countries where you have stayed for more than 6 months.PPC is not required for applicants below 18 years of age.
PCC in INDIA can be from PSK or SP office(ssp in case of Punjab).PCC is also required for Dubai.
