I m NOC 3012, august 28th applicant.. August 27th applicant got his PER... I donno abt mine... Now so frustrated...

Has anyone confirmed news about the last date of receiving applications at CIO. Because end of the year holidays are approaching.

is it 19th December, 2014 as mentioned in some of the sources?

OR someone will be present in CIO office to receive applications till 31st of Dec,2014?.

If someone has confirmed news please share in this regard.

Yesterday only I read a blog of one forumite, where he/she called to CIC for his/her UCI #. Although, it was not provided but he/she was informed by CIC call receiving agent that CIC will work complete Dec and will have Christmas holidays only on 25 & 26 Dec and 1st Jan being New Year Day.

I received my PER today that was sent on Aug 11th 2014. I had received a NER email on my 1st application that was sent on May 6th 2014. I recently renewed my passport since its expiring in Sep 2015. Does any one know if we are supposed to intimate CIC about the new passport ? Also, what is the process ?

Secondly, I am planning to get married next year. Is it too time consuming to sponsor your spouse if you did not include your spouse name in the PR application. Anyone with similar experience. Would really appreciate your inputs.

for passport you need to wait untill application reaches VO... second query, someone who experienced can reply...

I think they took the question where you list your visa office off the generic application I'm helping a friend with her application and that question wasn't there

Yes, the new form doesn't have the field to select the VO, instead CIO will assign the right VO for each applicant. Hurry up sending your friend's application.

From similar cases in the past we know that CIC updates the NOC cap when they have enough applications for that NOC to process and to discourage new applicants for sending the documents. So he could be in the cap...
