What is ur NOC? what stream u applied for?

Friends,

I am 6th May applicant waiting for my PPR. My wedding is planned on 8th Feb 2015 and with the current pace i believe PPR request is gonna be only by 2015.

So question - if i have to include my spouse in the application then i have to go thru the whole process again, so does this come under express entry by any chance? your thoughts or suggestions - please advice.

I know one applicant who applied under PhD stream on 18th-Aug got PER yesterday...

So u also will get it soon

Also note that PER email comes after initial screening by an officer, so it also depends on how complicated ur case. For example PhD stream takes a bit more time to get PER as they are very keen on how PA(applicant) obtained work experience....

I think there should be a provision of adding wife at a later date also...Please explore option in Addition of family members as in case of new born...

No, it was from cic, nova scotia.
he received 66 points only. He was suppose to receive 67 points because he had to get 22 points in education as he had 3 years bachelor degree and 2 years master degree. But for this he got only 21 points.
Can he appeal for this?

Points awarded to you based on the outcome of WES.

What is your friends Canadian Educational Equavalency as per WES?

If WES says, equavalency to 4 years bachelors and master, then you can appeal for 23 points

JUST NOW GOT MY UCI NO. BY CALLING THE CIC CALL CENTER. THE LADY WAS VERY HELPING AND ASKED SOME OF MY PERSONAL DETAILS LIKE DATE OF BIRTH, PLACE OF BIRTH, DATE OF APPLICATION ETC. ALSO SHE TOLD THAT SHE CANNOT ACCESS THE FILE. I GOT THE FOLLOWING STATUS AFTER ENTERING UCI IN ECAS.

1.We received your application for permanent residence on September 8, 2014.

. u right it varies case to case basis.

Since one of my friend got cse response after 40 days another friend got response within 2 days.

How can one know if the file had reached LVO ?? Am thinking of sending an email about status change once they get my file / case

sorry to inform u, lvo is 'notoriously slow'
fswp13 cases r still to get visas.

its also case to case basis aswell

but

EXPECT some 90 days for MR,RPRF etc..

Hi all,

I reside in India and I applied for Federal Skilled visa through an agency in India. but im unsure of the Visa Office. Can we choose any visa office or is it that it is based on our location. My agent had sent my application to Canada. So would my visa office be Canada or NewDelhi? is there anyway i can see it in the online status checker?

To begin with All applications are sent to Canada . Once you pass their eligibility checks and qualify for the program, you are sent an email notification and THEN your application is transferred to your local visa office( new delhi) in your case.the rest of the processing is then done by your local VO(visa office).

I sent my application through DHL today under NOC category 1212. Latest cap updated on 26th NOV has reached 164.
What next? In how many days will CIC update the acceptance of application form & how would I know that apart from courier tracking ofcource?

I hope there will be no issue of cap fill for NOC 1212 as it has much room remaining. you will hear from CIC in 90 to 100 days.

will I be getting same 23 points from NDVO as I received from CIC Sydney?

Of course, both CIC and VO follow the same standards when evaluating the applications.

If your WES Credentials say it's equivalent to Canadian Master's then you'll get 23 points.

my second line was updated on 4th sept, and PER recieved on 8th Aug, no MR yet, I am from NDVO and it looks like Visa Office is not keen on giving MR.

Same here bro.......me also 7th may applicant....2nd line updated on 12 september.....per 8 august......no MR yet :trust in GOD and bro...we will get good news soon.........cheers,,,,,,
