thnx for info mate!!
then what had to be, to get 22 points?

If the 2 degrees were considered separate, then 22 points would have been obtained. In this case the 2 degrees are to be considered in conjunction, meaning together, hence 21 points.

come-on CIC ... how long you want us to hang on thread... have mercy before we run out patience... >:( >:( >:( >:(

With what is happening can a guess be even made as to what month are they doing completeness checks for?

Pradhan,

Give the details of WES report exactly as mentioned. Is it written "in conjunction" anywhere in the report ?

Yes, it is... Sorry I didn't noticed that.

It is written in remarks

Remarks: The equivalency for this credential is stated in conjunction with study previously completed (see 1, above).

This is the biggest confusion I had when I was applying too... I too thought that I will get 22 points at the beginning

Later I did research on WES manual, which provides guidelines for evaluation...

Unfortunately our 3y BSC from India is considered as 3y post secondary study and MSc degree is considered as continuation for BSC, as it is less than 4y (for American universities, its 4y BSC)

In order to get 23 points for MSc you need to finish 3y Bsc from A+ Indian university and you must get first class

In order to get 22 points you have to have 4y BSc degree and some diploma

Its very common of Eng degrees to get 22 points because not all of them get BE after +2. Some of them do diploma for 2-3y and then B.eng they get 22 points

Unfortunately we are science ppl...

Also note that I exactly know how you must be feeling... I was rejected ate VO stage in 2013 for obtaining 66 points (though CIO-sydney gave me 71 points) (my application fee 1250 was not returned as it was rejection at VO)

I feel really sorry for you ... but plz get ur fee back... all the best...

Ya CIO gave me 5 points for finishing first 2y phd in canada under adaptability

But CPC-O took them away... they started giving this points only applicants after may-2nd-2013...

This was the general trend in 2013, thats how many PhD category applicants were rejected in 2013

It became big head-ache for CIC as CIO-S was giving points and CPC-O was taking away

Then, in 2013-may they changed the rule saying that 5points will be given as long as applicant remains in good standards for 2y and no degree required to obtain these points....

Hey Guys,
I have applied for the fsw in September (22) this year. However I have a UCI no. cz I'm a student here in Canada.
I checked my ECAS, it shows not recognized. I wonder if there is some way I can get aware of my application status...
