He has two post secondary degrees.

It says
Canada Equivalency : Bachelors Degree (Three years) for Bachelors Degree and
Canada Equivalency : Bachelors Degree (Four years) for Masters Degree

Can he appeal for this?
Thanx

Okay I need clarification..... I have 3y Bachelors degree and 2 Years Master degree and this is how my ECA report was...

Canadian bachelors degree 4years

3y BSc... recognized univ..... 3y post secondary study..

2y Msc... recognized univ.... 4y Bachelors

and then there is a note,.. the above degree is in conjunction with the previous degree and I can claim only 21 points as it equal to 4y Canadian Bachelor degree....

It all depends on what they wrote on the first line... that is what the immigration cares.....

In order to get 22 points it must be written equal to two post secondary degrees... if you see the word 'conjunction' they are clubbed together

Sorry for your rejection.........

If the 2 degrees are mentioned in summary separately, he can appeal. Else if it is mentioned that the masters needs to be in conjunction with bachelors, then only 21 points will be available. Can't confirm without seeing summary and detailed report

Thanks for reducing my worries.
I hope there will be many other forumites with Thomas Cook DD and getting PER.

It was written as

You were assigned 21 points for your education credential at the bachelor degree level based on the Canadian educational credential or equivalency assessment submitted in support of your application in accordance with R75(8) and R78(1).

Thnx

Hello everybody. My application for FSW 2014 was received by CIC on May 8th. Got my PER on August 12th. And I have received no word since, except for 2 emails I got in response on 2 emails I wrote to my VO (Mexico City) as follows:

On September 25th: ("This application has been received by our office in Mexico. Our office will contact you as soon as we are ready to start processing your file. An exact review schedule is not yet available. However, all applications will be reviewed in the order in which they were received").

On November 20th: ("This application is still under background verifications. We are still awaiting the results of background enquiries. Since these verifications are made by a different office than this one, an exact review schedule is not yet available. However, all applications are reviewed in the order in which they were received").

I´ve seen more than one application receive their MR with CIC Received Dates and PER Dates a lot later than mine, so I don´t know if that means there is some kind of issue with my application, or if this is totally normal (comparing of course with the processing times being managed for FSW 2014 which are happening so fast, it seems weird mine is this frozen).

Is any of you FSW 2014 applicants in the same or in a similar situation as me?

Thanks,

One more query...My CC is not charged..Is this right time to call??
07/10/14 applicant

Do not tell the agent that your CC is charged...Just mention that I do not have any info and I m worried what is happening. If yu have written mail to them and no response then mention that also....I got my UCI no from Call Centre yesterday like that.

Best of Luck....Please do share your experience in the forum

It's really hard to predict when to receive PER, CIO is now issuing PERs for application dates between 12 Aug and 4 Sep, but out of sequence. I am 22 Aug applicant, keeping my eyes on email inbox since last week, but my PER is not there yet...........................feeling really frustrated....

me too...no cc charged. no PER :(

FYI: ECAS shows only two-three days before PER in some cases it takes time. After cost recovery the officer at cio has to touch your file first,,... then only ECAS will appear online, till then you can consider that your file has not been touched by officer...

I applied on Aug-11 and my ecas started showing case status only from 29-Nov and I got PER on 2-Dec

After they checked completeness of applications they immediately rushed in to CCC to update CAP for each category

Some late Aug applicants are still waiting for PER

SO no worries.... its on its way... I know its hard to wait...... gud luck

Thanks, bro!
