Alberta wants the federal government to lift the lid on the number of economic immigrants it can nominate each year for permanent residence so it can better meet its growing labour needs.

Jobs Minister Ric McIver said the province has sent a letter to federal Citizenship and Immigration Minister Chris Alexander.

"I would like the federal government to take the cap off of the maximum number of provincial nominees that we can appoint so that we can bring in the people that we need," McIver said in an interview Monday.

Good day forumites! Any idea on whether any NOC 1212 October applicants have been charged yet? I am an October 3rd applicant with DD as a mode of payment. I was looking at being charged around mid January and then receiving PER (hopefully) around the first week of February.

I m also 1212 DD Sep 15 no news as of now

Don't give up. We have already witnessed a 12-August applicant receiving his PER today. I know waiting is deadly boring but patience is the key to sustain through this long process.
I am sure all August applicants who are waiting for their PERs will hear good news this week or in the next.

Fellow applicants, I just wanted to share the good new that thanks to the Almighty, I just received my PER. Below is my application timeline:

Application received: 12 August, 2014
Fees taken: 18 November, 2014 ( as per bank statement)
PER: 11 December, 2014
NOC: 2133

Drawing attention to applications who are being processing beyond PER, please help with the information regarding what is going to happen next.

sorry to inform u, lvo is 'notoriously slow'
fswp13 cases r still to get visas.

its also case to case basis aswell

but

EXPECT some 90 days for MR,RPRF etc..

HOPE I V BEEN REALISTIC PLZ.

Today I have received my passport with mapple leaf stamp. Thanks to everyone who gives ideas and experience shared to all. This forum eliminates the presents of a representative and also gives much more. My visa stamping procedure finished within 6 months. If anybody need any help, I am ready to share my experience.

Did you apply PCC before MR request?

Hi virgomus,

Though my application belongs to NDVO, I had done my meds on 21st Nov, uploaded by hospital on 25th Nov and 3rd line updated on 07th Dec (Sunday)... You should get the 3rd line either over this weekend or early next week for sure.
