Regarding: Indian PCC from a Indian Embassy Outside India.

Dear Members,

Applied from India. My visa office is NDVO. I received PER in October 2014.
Kindly help me in answering my query. I am expecting that in next couple of months NDVO might request me for PCC. My company is planning to send me on a project outside india for next 3-4 months. I want to know that if NDVO requests PCC during the time I am outside India, then will it be OK if I get Indian PCC from the Indian Embassy in that country I shall be travelling to. Will NDVO accept that PCC?

First of all, what are you waiting for, get it now from your PSK.
Secondly, Indian Embassy might not issue you PCC, because you will be just landed there and not living for long time.
Finally, NDVO might not accept it because you were not out for 6 months and you received your PER while you were in India. Assuming you had opportunity to get it from local police, they might presume you are hiding something.
So, get it done now from PSK or local police commissioner's office. It is much easier and hassle free than getting it overseas.

PS: as you got PER in October, you might get a call for PCC before you live India.

there is no issue. The PCC is valid for 1 yr for CIC.
You can get the another PCC copy within same day if the previous police verification was done within last 6 months.

Madam I think it will be too early to call CIC right now to get your UCI number. They have just charged 10 OCT cc. I don't think so they might have updated the records in regards to the UCI number.

My CC was charged on 4th DEC, NOC 2132 so most probably before Christmas holiday , i am expecting PER or might be in 1st / 2nd week of January .

meanwhile my marital status has changed from Single to married so i need you guidance for wayforward.. like whom to approach to update my spouse's
