How about Axis bank?

Demand Draft has to be drawn in Canadian dollars only.
For Principal Applicant DD amount is CAD $550.
DD should be drawn in favor of "THE RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA" payable at Canada.
This fee is for application processing charged by Canadian Govt.
This fee is non refundable unless your application is returned due to CAP limit or if you disqualify as per immigration
officer assessment.
Demand draft can be drawn from any Bank which offers foreign exchange services (FOREX).
Drafts from Co-operative banks and Thomas Cook are not accepted

I prefer taking it from HDFC or HSBC

I have applied for PCC from India, it got approved but was not able to collect it, as I left abroad.


Is PCC issued from Consulate of India in Dubai is valid. Or

Shall I take it from Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi

or from India

which one CIC or NDVO accepts

ok...so MR in 50 to 70 days from PER date....PER means u have sent all the requested documents and your file is transffering to your local VO...chances are good if all the docs sent by u are real and true to ur knowledge...btw..share your time line and vo...

Dear PP, Diplomatru and CAnol and other members ! How good to have your UCI number, just was thinking. People in the forum calling CIC desperately to have UCI number. Will calling them and getting UCI number will change the status of my or any other application. I am 19th Sep DD applicant and still waiting or encashment and PER subsequently. Should I call them to get it?

uci will only comfort you in the sense that you know your application has been through completeness check and you can keep checking status online with the help of Uci then.

I am sure you will see the 3rd line updated over this weekend..(mine happened on a Sunday too!) By the way, did you find out when your RPRF DD is encashed (I presume you have sent a DD)?

Dear Forum Friends,

I have raised a case specific request with NDVO regarding my medicals and third line ...

I got a confirmation automated reply that they will reply within 28 days of my query.


Medicals done in Mumbai on November 22 -2014 and Hospital authorities say they have already uploaded the medical results online on November 25-2014...
Hospital authorities say they have to upload the results within 2 days of conducting the test and they have done that...

Hospital authorities further say In case if CIC has any issues they will directly connect with me to redo the medicals.
I have not got an request either from CIC nor any third line update in ECAS

I have submitted the Right to land fees, medical invoice, PCC and passport pages photocopy to NDVO on November 28-2014 and the courier reached NDVO on 3-Dec-2014 ....

Eagerly waiting for the update in ECAS

First line is displayed after Data Entry, the step following Cost recovery at CIO. This is when an electronic file is created in GCMS. PER, AOR and file transfer don't trigger a CAS update.

Second line appears when the assigned IPA opens file in GCMS and begins processing it by initiating document verification and criminality check. Upon completion he/she sends MR.

Third line appears when medical results are received and approved by CIC. Then IPA launches security check.

Fourth line appears upon completion of security checks and final determination of admissability and eligibility by IPA. As a result an applicant generally receives PPR.

ECAS updates really depend on specific VO. Ukrainians gettheir second line updates usually after medicals done or after PPR request. I have a feeling ECAS has to be updated manually, it's not automated

OMG, Did it take 3 months to get PCC?, BTW, I am July 16 applicant received PER on 13th Nov, waiting for MR/PCC, can I apply for PCC now? Will NDVO object if I get it before request?

Hey, don't panic.. they took only 15 days and sent sms that PCC is ready to be collected....however, I was travelling after police verification, so I could collect only in Oct.

Any Bank that has FOREX
Axis is equally good...
Remember to take a cheque also with you when going for DD

Recently it is being reported that CC is charged for 60-70 days only and add 7 for dd
See if you can go with CC rather than DD
