Hi Seniors,

Glad I came across this forum. I couriered my documents out on 29th Nov and as per tracking from DHL, it have arrived at CIC on 3rd Dec. I am applying for 0113.

Can I check the following:

1. I notice that many of you sent the documents to your visa office. Based on the check list, the mailing of the 1st set of documents (initial) is to Sydney NS. May I ask what documents are you guys sending to your visa office? Did I send my documents to the wrong place??

2. The average time of processing is between 3 to 4 months from what I observe here in the forum. Would anyone be able to advise after receiving a notification from CIC that they have receive your documents, what will be the next steps. It would be nice if a high level overview can be given to us newbies so that we can know the direction.

Appreciate all your help.

Hi,

No you did not send your docs to the wrong place.

You just need to forget this for the next 70-80 days. Hopefully if the package is complete and there are no issues with the contents - they will charge your CC or DD in 60-90 days.

POst which the file will be transferred to your local VO. It will take another 45-60 days before the local VO starts processing.

If all checks go well- they will send you a MR request along with some other documents that they might need. At this stage you need to submit the documents to the VO.

Post your medicals you can expect a visa within 3-4 months( but no1 knows for sure yet)!!

I am 23 June applicant ,, received PER on 21 Oct ,, but after that no mail yet ,, what's NDVO doing ,, how much more time/wait for medical request ????
