Hi immigcan,

I am looking at my Visa........ I have 3, 2 have expired and 1 is current. On the last two, my UCI is at the bottom right side, but ironically it does not have a dash, it is just 8 digits.

1] FSWP Credential Assessment for canada

2] Normal Credential Assessment for For Education, Employment, or Immigration Purposes in the United States/Canada

You can log in to ECAS using the 6 digit number which is your UCI number.

UCI is 8 digit number..!!

After MR the VO initiates security check, which is the most time-consuming routine in the whole PR process. Security checks are governed by Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness (PSEP) and are more like a detective's work aimed to establish if the applicant is admissable under IRPA provisions. Mainly, they are looking for terrorists, spies and war criminals.

There are many stakeholders that can be part of Security check, including but not limited to Regional War Crimes Unit or the Modern War Crimes Unit, National Security Division, CBSA, NHQ.

However, in case of NDVO I doubt any of these PPR reports are genuine, since they are evidently clearing the FSW2013 backlog.

Kindly guide through which process should i go for my PCC processing.I received my PER on 2nd dec. Now our consultant has advised us to go through the Police Commissioner as the Passport office process is longer according to them.What do you suggest guys?How many days does a PCC take?Should we wait till our medicals request or start processing immediately?

Which city are you from ?

With Hyd PSK, if you get a slot for your PCC appointment. then it will take you a day or two to get the PCC.

For me and my wife it took us exactly a day, even when our current address is not passport address. Just make sure you have two gov issued address proofs from the list mentioned on the site. Aadhaar is not really accepted even whiles its there on the list.

It takes a whole day but you will get it at the PSK. Based on my experience you should try at both the places in parallel.

I am 24th Sep 2172 applicant,, still waiting for cc to be charged.

I am 11th Sep, 2172 - Payment - DD applicant. I have checked with ICICI Customer care and they said no one placed DD for clearance. I hope it may take some more days. Please let me know the latest DD charged.

It's so sad that NDVO has still not started issuing any PPR's? What are they up to? How can we make decisions this way...need to resign from the existing jobs...need to land in Canada within a year from the date of the medicals done. Additionally we have a small child and we cannot afford to land in winters...have to make sure that we land during warmer months, settle the child in the new atmosphere, new school and above all get decent jobs by the time winter sets in. Otherwise it can be very difficult to survive a Canadian Winter!!
Please NDVO please buck up and send PPRs soon!!
