I think NDVO starts background checks and other formalities only after receiving medical reports and collection of RPRF DD. So, most of the applications are facing bottleneck at this stage. Waiting becomes more difficult when excitement increases, obviously after medical check up.
NO. Background check is done before MR.

Does visa refusal in the past impact fsw Application. Any experience?
It shouldn't affect you. I have a refusal of Temporary Residence Visa.

NDVO will eventually start issuing PPR 2 and visa's, it's been a anxious wait for all the people of NDVO who completed MR's 2 or 3 months ago.
There should be a reason why there is this delay from NDVO, but we just cant predict the ways vo does the processing.

The biggest flip side is the window of the landing is getting narrower, as the visa will be issued for 1 year from the date Medical are done... So if gap between visa and MR increases people will have difficulty in planning things like resigning from existing jobs serving the notice period, sorting out other things here and making arrangements abroad.

Hope the positive news start flowing in this week, and people will have atleast 8 to 9 months left for valid visa.

no negative effect incase of canada!! They treat everyone equally. U must have declared any rejection with reference num in forms!!

Any 28 Aug applicant got PER yet.

So total six people on forum who has no 3rd line on e-CAS after medical. Me my friend, sagarsegi, yogibear, rajdeep ganga we all have completed medical in November month except sarai who has completed his medical in September! ! It seems November month has some problem!!

Not true. MR is a result of document verification and criminality checks completion.

But then, what is the point of pcc if criminality check is already done at the time of MR?

Another way of looking at it is if criminality check happens after MR, then a criminally inadmissable applicant looses even RPRF???

There are two scenarios here:

1) PCCs submitted to CIO
2) PCCs submitted to VO

The latter slightly delays processing

RPRF is different, I think you RPRF will be given back even if you decided not to land.

Isn't RPRF refundable? I think is the only fee of the process that is refundable...
