Don't be Tensed.. As application can even reject after obtaining 67 points. I mean at Local VO stage during Medical or Background Check..so, we have to live with it till the Visa is stamped..

I was just checking the CIC site it states that if "medicals have been received" then it means decision have been made on your application then why most of us ECAS is still IN PROCESS Stage.

what does the background checks comprise of .. previous experience or complete family background checks.. any guy has underwent these checks..?

As blunt as it may seem, his statement is very true. There is no sure thing to questions posted on forum like what is the possibility of getting visa after "CC charge", "PER", "Medicals" or "PPR". Just hope for the best and be prepared for the worst i guess :

Hi,
Did you send PCC along with application form? Or applied after app sent?
I am July 16th applicant, I am waiting for the PCC request to apply as I was told by my friend that CIC will accept PCC only issued after request and PSK will ask for the PCC request proof for issuing, is that true?
My presentaddress is different to in Passport address whereas my spouse address is same as passport, how long will it take if I apply?

You should apply for your PCC ASAP. I suggest to apply from Commisioner office than PSK since your Passport and Current address are different.

Me to Passport and Current address different. Applied from PSK (3 weeks gone), still no PCC, even after follow ups.
