Dear All

My medical was done on 6th of this month. But still no message like "Medical Received" at Ecas status.

Puzzled. Please sugest.

BR//Subrun.

Did you check with Medical center where you did you medical? Are you sure they have updated your reports? Sometimes, the forget to do so.!!

Just double check again, if done, then wait for few more days.

If i submit DD for fee payment.
still do i need to sign FEE PAYMENT FORM
Because in the form there is no place to sign in case of BANK DRAFT.

No need to sign the form.....
Just fill in the particulars they have asked for.....

they ask for Signatures from CC holders to have their consent for charging.....

i have a quick question...preferably/but not limited for someone who is referred to vienna LO.

i used to live in the usa... left the usa in 2003. do i still need to submit pc from the usa? my app reached cio on nov 24.th 2014. i've submitted pcs for two countries where i've lived in past 10 years... any thoughts?

Hi,

Did you send PCC along with application form? Or applied after app sent?

I am July 16th applicant, I am waiting for the PCC request to apply as I was told by my friend that CIC will accept PCC only issued after request and PSK will ask for the PCC request proof for issuing, is that true?

My presentaddress is different to in Passport address whereas my spouse address is same as passport, how long will it take if I apply?
START PROCESS OF GETTING PCC AFTER GETTING PR.PSK DOES NOT ASK FOR ANY PROOF.THEY CHARGE A FEE FOR IT.VO WILL GIVE YOU 30 DAYS TO SUBMIT SO KEEP IT READY AND DO NOT WAIT FOR DEMAND FROM VO. SINCE YOUR ADDRESS IS DIFFERENT IT MAY TAKE MORE TIME,MAY BE ABOUT A MONTH

Hi Seniors!

I have collected all the required documents and I'm about to send my whole package:
But before that I have some doubts, Please help me clear those:

1) I'm applying for two members: me and my wife, for education purposes Do I need to send my wife's Documents/transcripts also or is it that only my documents are required?
2) Do I need to send my 10th & 12th Mark-sheets and certificates along with my ECA report & B.E and MBA transcripts/Degrees?
3) what should be the paper quality for Photographs?
4) Is notarization of documents necessary? If yes which documents? Please note: All of the documents I am submitting are in English Language.
5) My Birth certificate was issued by my nearest police station that too in handwriting( but there is an official seal of SHO), because the village I was born in does not fall under municipal limits, would that be a problem? DO i need to attach any affidavit or should I submit a notarized birth certificate copy?
6) Does my Bank need to mention total funds in local currency or Canadian Dollars?
1) you'll send only your educational documents along with transcripts and ECA report.
2) For the 2nd question answer is yes
3) Photo quality i dont know but you can find specification from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp#appendixA
4) No
5) Your birth certificate is fine.
6) Funds in any currency are acceptable as far as they are according to your application requirement.

Your police clearance certificate is valid for a period of one year from the date it was issued. If the validity has expired before your visa is issued you will be requested to provide an updated police certificate from the country you are currently living in. If you have already submitted police certificates from other countries where you have not recently lived you will not have to provide an update

hi all,
I was asked to submit my spouses matriculation certificate along with the RPRF WHICH I did but I did not receive any acknowldgement how do I know if there is any discrepancy with my rprf or the required certificate.

It's quite common for the SGVO that requests Medical Exams, Passport and RPRF at the same time.

NDVO should have followed the same process... :'( :'(

Yups, that is fine. It might be valid for one year but that is when your application is received by CIC. As per the CIC website:

Who needs a police certificate?
In general, you and all the people in your family who are 18 or older need to get a police certificate. You must get one from each country or territory where you have lived for six or more months in a row since the age of 18.

The certificate must be issued no more than three months before you apply.

If your certificate is in a language other than English or French, send it when you apply, along with the original copy of a translation done by a certified translator.
See http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp
