This is a serious & time-consuming stage(depending on which country are you coming from/residing) , involving many agencies, including CSIS, Interpol, NASC, Database Checking & touch-base with Local Police. Many things are considered here... the No. of countries visited, Applicant coming from 'certain' countries, ex-Servicemen [including Law Enforcement services], Prolonged stay in a country w/out sufficient docs to prove cause, frequent traveling to certain nations, your *Name (?), Inter-Religion/Nationality Marriages etc."

Some of you might know that people from Middle East take more time in issuing PPR, compared to people from USA, UK etc. It is because of intense Security check.

Hope you will find this helpful.
Its a scary one because I'm from Middle East ...

how come he is getting Medical Request and Passport request at the same time..............................

It's quite common for the SGVO that requests Medical Exams, Passport and RPRF at the same time.

Hello Seniors,

My Medical request came in mid Sept and got my medicals done in Sweden on 25th Sept as I was not in India. I sent the Medical acknowledgement , RPRF and my wife PCC on 10th oct. Till date my third line is not updated. I confirmed from bank my RPRF fee DD is encashed. Not sure why my third line is nt updated been more than 2 months. :-(

Dear Forum Friends,

Whom do i connect with if the 3 line in ECAS is not updated after 15 days after uploading of medicals online in ECAS
Medicals done in Mumbai on November 22 -2014 and Hospital authorities say they have already uploaded the medical results online on November 25-2014...
Hospital authorities say they have to upload the results within 2 days of conducting the test and they have done that...
Hospital authorities further say In case if CIC has any issues they will directly connect with me to redo the medicals.
I have not got an request either from CIC nor any third line update in ECAS
I have submitted the Right to land fees, medical invoice, PCC and passport pages photocopy to NDVO on November 28-2014 and the courier reached NDVO on 3-Dec-2014 ....

Eagerly waiting for the 3rd line update in ECAS

Thanks

Yogi Bear

As per my understanding, it takes 5-8 days to update on website after your courier reaches NDVO. my courier reached on 26th Nov but status got updated on 4th Dec

What about October 6 applicant cc charge? 1212 NOC!!!

I still didn't hear nor my cc is charged for my brothers app.

Do not worry. There are many applicats form september that were not charged. I suppose CIC is charging some NOCs faster than the other.

Keep calm. ::)

My pcc is expired....dont have time to get new one....as time is short...is it ok if I add previous pcc in new application

It should not be issued more than three months from the date of application.

I am trying to update my status into SS.. but couldn't.. how to upload that.. even i couldnt find edit option there, so that i can update my details into SS.

If both husband & wife have diabetes, does it lead to rejection?

Your police clearance certificate is valid for a period of one year from the date it was issued. If the validity has expired before your visa is issued you will be requested to provide an updated police certificate from the country you are currently living in. If you have already submitted police certificates from other countries where you have not recently lived you will not have to provide an update.
