thanks! Canadians love Cuba, you know? Unlike the US government Ottawa has diplomatic ties with Havana, so there are direct flights at least from Toronto, and Varadero is a second choice for vacations after Florida.
I know that. Canada is the first source of Tourism here and I have meet several Canadians when on holidays. There are flights from Toronto, Edmonton and I am not sure but I think from Montreal as well. I have friends living in Toronto that says Cubans are taken in high esteem by Canadians.
I hope they keep the same point of view for a while :P

That delay can because of 2 reasons:

1) - Medical is sent under review can be because of precious medical history or something else. (I think this is the issue)
2)- They might have misplace it or might have not linked it to his account.

Raise a CSE and see what they share with you.
do u think medical review take so much time?? It is almost more than two months for sarasi and almost 1.5 months for me and for my friend!! My friend has raised CSE but no response from ndvo!!

A July 14 Ottawa applicant reported MR yesterday, I believe. I urged him to update the SS throwing a +1 incentive in advance, and so he promised and faded away :(

Since we are talking about Cuba, a few curiosities I have, if you don't mind me asking:

- Brazil has recently hired a lot of Cuban doctors through the government - about 15.000. Are they well paid to come to Brazil? The picture here is that the Cuban government keeps most of the money :/

- How closed is the island in practice? Can you choose to leave Cuba whenever you want? Are there any punishments?

Congratulations to all CC DD PER MR PPR DM

I got MR & RPRF request today but I am confused senior please help:

They Didn't mentioned to me anything about sending documents .....

They just requested :

1. Medical examination for yourself.
2. Payment of Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) for yourself.
i) You must send the receipt to CPC-O. For fastest service, please attach it to an email and send it to the address CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais @ cic.gc.ca
3. Copy of Biographical page of new passport for yourself.

then Its Written like this:

" The above information/documents must be received in our office within 60 days from the date of this e-mail. Please quote your complete application number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the address indicated above."

But there is no address written above....? :o

What to do now..? and do they ask everyone to send a copy of passport or its just me..?

Hi,

Many Congratulations for ur MR,...

They ask everyone to send a copy of passport(biopages),so dont worry. Address of the visa office is mentioned as the signature of the email u have received. You might have sent PCC along with the application package and hence it mite have not been requested again, Rest everything is fine. This is exactly one is asked for, when one receives medical request.

Just chill and be relaxed.

All the best.

- They are well paid, even better than most of Cuban doctors that are working abroad. Don't know the insights of the contracts but for sure there is a "fee" that should be paid to the government in compensation. Right know, the health personnel working abroad is one of the first sources of income of the country.
- The laws have changed a lot in recent years. In my particular case yes, I can leave the country whenever I want and no punishments at all. When finishing the Uni I did the two years working for a Cuban company as the law says so I am clean know :D
FSW is a well known immigration program and nobody stops it, you are free to apply if you want and meet the requirements....
