There is no requirement of submitting medical receipts as well =)
Very true. Medicals will be sent directly by the hospital. Sending receipts is only a way to let the VO know the medicals have been done, someone at the embassy here told me that :D

Hey Dip!

What are your thoughts on the latest update on September applicants wherein a Sept 4 applicant got first line in ECAS yesterday (sunday) and a Sept 2 applicant got PER in spite of the current PER dates being Aug 21?

Folks i need your help in clarifying this issue, i checked ECAS and the status is in progress however i have not received my PER email, what does this mean?

How did you get your UCI number? Some people have reported ECAS updating a few days (I only remember one guy who said 4 days) before getting PER. Those people had an UCI number from previous applications.
You should also check your spam folder, sometimes PER ends there.

Hey bosschips!
As per my understanding, the applications are reviewed by different CPAs who are responsible for different NOCs (ie. 'financial', 'medical', 'IT', 'managers', etc.). They proceed with varying speed, so although FIFO principle is observed, the difference in Sydney TAT is likely attributed to this routine.

Besides, some applications are randomly selected for QA, and are put through PSO revision, which once again leads to delays in processing.

I agree. To me, only the 1111 CPAs are working hard.

Most of the other NOCs are put on hold... and like last week, this Monday was VERY slow at the CIO.
