Friends,

I need your advice on the below:

My friend applied for FSW2014 and luckily he got his PER on 5th Dec 2014. As he had a few issues at work, he resigned on the same day he received his PER. He is currently serving his notice period of 2 months (last day at work - supposedly Feb 10th 2015). My questions are:

a. Does he need to intimate NDVO now or once he gets relieved from the company? Certainly once he gets relieved. Change of Employment status has not yet occured
b. What is the procedure to inform the local VO? Raising CSE

Please help!

Thanks

It won't affect your application since it's not with Sydney anymore.
I know it won't but there are still many applicants waiting for their turn, we all know how stressful this can be :o

Dear Kazi,
You will receive the PER with 12~20 days. For me PER mail was received after 18 days after CC was charged.
Thanks Bro

Hey Guys...
I am a student in Canada and have a UCI number. However I have also filed the fsw application in september. Now my question is , does the UCI number stay the same and I can check my ecas with that? or will I be issued another UCI.

::)

UCI will remain same forever. One person one UCI - always unchanged.

DD is the safest method, even though you will see CC is charged earlier. But it happens as because DD goes through the banking channel which take additional time. You need to take the required amount as per CIC payment instruction to the bank and fill a form for issuance of demand draft in favour of Receiver General for Canada and mention the Currency CAD and amount. That's all. The bank will either debit your account or take the equivalent cash and issue the DD. Below part of DD is for you and the cheque type part you need to send with your application.

Hope this helps!

+1 for helping members and giving good explanation.

But it is affecting the applications under CPC-O. Almost 2 months they have received my medical, but no PPR yet! :( :( :(
Made an inquiry 3 weeks ago. They replied, " your application is nearly complete. Thanks for keep patience". How long? ???

It has nothing to do with EE. Security checks can be extensive.

It appears as per SS that Sydney processing time still takes ~4 months, which is what it used when we applied, isn't it?

Friends,

My daughter is Canadian born, Do I have to put her info in the Generic Application Form INM0008 in the dependent sections

Thanks for reply

Regarding "2-self-addressed mailing lables" , should we print it on simple A4 plain paper and send it?

OR these should be printed on empty envelope?

What about the sentence that they have mentioned in "Guide 7000", :- "Affix sufficient postage" ?? It means the mailing lables that we are sending on those lables we should affix postage so that CIC will not be required to pay the return postal charges?? or What does it mean? Who pays for the return of application from CIO to our address??

I submitted expired pcc with application. They did not ask to submit any updated pcc. So I did not submit updated pcc though I have one. Do you think i need to send updated one?

Of course, anyway we are only guessing the reasons for slowing down and the possible effects of EE on FSW.

No. But, you have to give her information in the additional family information form.

Of course not dear. PCC is used for criminality check and you completed it months ago. Criminality check is a completely different piece, but they already teased that you are almost done.

Does criminal and background check happens before MR or after MR?

I thought it's already taken before MR.
