Friends,

I need your advice on the below:

My friend applied for FSW2014 and luckily he got his PER on 5th Dec 2014. As he had a few issues at work, he resigned on the same day he received his PER. He is currently serving his notice period of 2 months (last day at work - supposedly Feb 10th 2015). My questions are:

a. Does he need to intimate NDVO now or once he gets relieved from the company?
b. What is the procedure to inform the local VO?

Please help!

Thanks

It means that VO has started working on your file and should expect MR,PCC,RPRF soon. You could contact CPC-Ottawa by email

Please send it by DHL. EMS will take more time. Just a suggestion..

Just my point of view; DHL doesn't give you POD (Proof od delivery). It only shows item delivered with no one to sign for it when u click the status online
I am a living witness, thou I have been charged thou.
So choose rightly based on your anxiety level.

Yes they do, at least in my country. In Cuba the best company to submit documents is DHL (they still s*** but anyway) so that have been my only choice during all the stages of my process. Sending documents to WES, sending applications to CIO on 2013 and on 2014 again, sending updated documents to Mexico City VO.... When tracking packages, at time of delivery it said: Signed by XXXXX and a picture proving it.

DHL does provide you with the POD if requested. However, the final POD comes from Loomis Express which they use internally in Canada to deliver to Sydney NS. One may request for the final POD by calling DHL. Out of my own experience I have used DHL services twice and have been able to procure the final POD from them.

In Generic Application FormCurrent Country of Residence, when I write in Date, From I can mention, but what about Date To: Because when I select the today’s date it gives an error, should I write by hand in it that till now. OR what date should I mention because I am still residing in this country.

a. Does he need to intimate NDVO now or once he gets relieved from the company?
>> Yes but I think after he gets relieved from the company and joins new company.

b. What is the procedure to inform the local VO?

>> Send courier to NDVO with a cover letter mentioning your job status and PER number and other identity related thing pertaining to your file. Do attach
1. relieving letter/resignation acceptance letter from the current employer
2. new job offer letter
3. new job contract if available at the time of sending the courier.

Maybe you can write 'till present' in it or maybe leave it blank .. Cause writing a date wouldnt be correct i guess cause your application will take 8-10 months for processing and you cannot make your present tense as your past tense while being in present tense . Lol i hope you getting it . As for example .. I am an indian but my current country of residence is Australia I am on work visa presently so then in that section i wrote the start date of my visa till the end date of my visa example its expiring on 23/7/2018 so thats what i wrote .. Hope this helps .

============== Again, please reply ============
Dears,
when I sent my application , I attached the MCC (medical council of canada ) report which is a must for doctors applying for either noc 3111 or 3112 along with the degree transcript and a copy of the final certificate ( the Carton certificate which was used by the MCC ) only . I didn't send the temporary certificate. Some people say that I should have sent this certificate rather than sending the cartoon certificate.
N.B : As we don't get our final certificate ( carton) until we finish the intership year , the transcript indicates that we are graduated a year earlier than that is written on the final certificate ( carton ).
Am I supposed to re-send any updates ?!

Yes, write "Till Date" by hand.

Although I know that CC is fast but only thing which is creating panic for me is the 3D security. Although when I used Credit Card for payment for WES, it simply worked without asking any password. Simply the Credit Card Number+ CCV number worked. But in some cases when you enter Credit Card number with CCV code written on back, even in that case the website will go to third page asking you to enter another security password.

What do you think, I should provide DD, and two forms for CC to secure the payment.

Because it will be really a big blunder if application comes back due to CC not being charged.

That system (Secure Code for Mastercard and Verified by Visa) only apply to web transactions, not for cards that are swiped on input manually. So they don't apply in the case of CIC.

NER has a more complex routine, hence it takes at least as much as two times longer than positive evaluation processing.
