Passport expiring in August-2015

My passport is expiring in August-2015 and I received PER email recently and I will have medical request soon. What shall I do? I should apply to renew my passport now or wait for medical request.

What am I supposed to inform to CIC regarding this?

Regards,

HEY GUYS PLEASE PROVIDE ME THE INFORMATION REGARDING PROCESSING TIME.. NVDO

1. PER TO MR. DAYS - 50 days

2. MR. TO PPR
This is a mystery. only 2 applicants received PPR i guess (Vamshi\Kpatel) and both of them received COPR. No other reports of PPR from NDVO

Renew your passport. Later on, during mr, you can send them copies.of.newand old passport. You may put a cover letter explaining the situation.

Hi Guys,

In the Supplementary Travels Form, there are sections which are not applicable to people who are single.
Sections 2b,2c,2d and 2e are the sections not applicable. Hence what to be filled in these sections..Do they need to tick ''Do not Travel'' or write N/A in these sections...

You just need to tick do not travel or N/A in this section if you dont have any dependent in your file .. Just give your own travel history .. If you have spouse give even their history .. .

And this +1 is for you dear. I heard there's a storm there. Are you safe?

Thank you very much Diplomatru and Manila_KBJ

This forum is superb. You, Ashif_eee, Century, Vind and many others help whenever someone is stuck in the process without any personal benefit. I sincerely appreciate your kind assistance. My +1 is due for both of you, once I cross 20 post...hahahaha.

No need to wrry...you can land anywhere

You got to be careful with this advise as it can be tricky.

The declared intent of landing is what you have filled in the form. Though you can physically arrive at any port in Canada and complete your procedures, your declared "landing" should be consistent with what you have stated so far. AND, in case, for FSW, you cannot intend to land anywhere in Quebec (even though you may arrive at Montreal airport or a port of entry in Quebec to complete your procedures and proceed to your declared intended destination in Canada). So be consistent with your declared intended destination.

If you have changed your intent, I believe the process is to fill up a revised IMM0008 form and submit it to your VO. And always be careful not to "intend to live in" Quebec. Quebec has its own immigration procedures.

Better yet, is to stick with whatever you have so far. Once you have "landed," you can move to anywhere in Canada as the Canadian Charter of Freedoms guarantees freedom of movement in Canada for all.

Is it? ::)
but my understanding was that they check the medical results after this status and still can take the decision based on this.

What can I say? you were wrong

My wife had applied for FSWP under two categories and she has got her PER on the 3rd of December for both categories as principal applicant. At which point do we have to withdraw one application? If we don't can she be rejected for dual application. Thanks for your help.

Congratulations for the two PERs. I just want to draw your attention that one applicant has got his file rejected unnecessarily due to what you did applying to two NOCs the same time.

Wow... unnecessary sanctimony there... I am sure MrFreeze or anyone here is to do any charity...

Hello All,

A simple question but confusing for me. In Additional Family Info Form, When my spouse is filling the form will he write his name against the column of "Applicant" although I am the principal applicant or he will show himself as spouse?

He will be the Applicant and you will be spouse and your husband will sign and date that form.

Phew after a long wait 3rd line in ECAS updated...... ;D...it just got updated a few minutes ago... more relieved than happy... wait for PPR begins....

Sagarsegi, Yogi_bear ... hope u also have received good news.. :)...

all the best...

Cheers!

Hi,

Nailed the coffin rightly. I agree with most if not all. +1 to you if it'll help you some way. Don't be disappointed with the -1s. Forget not the reason why we are here for. Forgive them for they know not of their ignorance and kiddishness in giving you -1s. Relish in the knowledge that you have brought peace and cheer for those who gave you -1 and felt happy about it.

Don't worry. Be happy. :D
