Just received my PER email last night.

Details:

NOC 2171
Application received > 18/08/2014
CC charged > 10/11/2014
PER > 05/12/2014

This forum is a great source of information, although I would like to mention that people who still haven't got their PER/MR/PPR that each case is different and don't get demotivated if the person filing the application after you has got the requests before you. Just have faith.

Congratulations my dear friend

Dear Friends,

I'm sending my application this week, no time left for me, Please advise me on the following questions:

1 - Do I have to include all small travel trips in the personal history and address section in the Background Declaration,, will be pain cus I travelled alot last 5 years?

2- Will my wife bank account will be considered for the settlement funds?

3- I'm student in Canada now, In case my application failed, does it affect my study permit renewal in the future??,, you now in Generic Application Form they ask you if you apply to stay in Canada permanently or you have rejection in any application in the past.

4- Both me and my wife eligible to apply,, my points are 69, her points are 70. we could not decide if one of the applications better than the other,, Can We submit 2 independence files, In case one didn't make it So we have another chance,, Or there is a role for couple to apply one application ?? Don't think it is a good idea. One of the forum members did attach his refusal letter from CIO, and one of the refusal point in the Appendix was - YOU HAVE PROVIDED CIC WITH TWO APPLICATIONS FOR PR IN CANADA FOR BOTH THE PRINCIPAL APPLICANT AND SPOUSE. PLEASE INDICATE WHICH APPLICANT WILL BE CONSIDERED THE PRINCIPAL APPLICANT. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE GENERIC APPLICATION FORM FOR CANADA IS REQUIRED ONLY FOR ONLY THE PRINCIPAL APPLICANT. I couldn't find the link for the said letter. PM me with your email id, and I would share the same.

5- I'm applying for the NOC 2145, "Petroleum Engineer", I do have 4 years experience as a Petroleum Engineer, but my education background not the same, its Engineering though, but its Electrical Engineering, I switch my career after graduation,, Is that gonna make issue with the VO evaluation.

Many thanks all in advance and appreciate all your inputs

Decide before hand who would be the principal applicant and do not take a chance with the application. All the best

Wow...you are going to go places with that attitude!! It's not like anyone here is paid to do this work, or is bound to stay here forever. If anything, the "seniors" have paid their dues way more than anyone else in this forum. They have already given more to the forum than they have ever received. So to call them selfish (that's what you are implying) is not cool.

Excellent reply bro.
