Dear Champions,

I've submitted my application on 21st of Nov and never been charged for any crime however I've not settled one of my credit card bill during my employment in Qatar. I'd appreciate if you please advise that whether this will be an issue if CIC ask me to provide PCC of Qatar because I don't know whether that bank has reported this case to police or not? For your information I've left Qatar long time back and staying in a different country at this moment.

Not settling loans and borrowings is a criminal offence in the middle east. The bank must have reported you as an absconder in QR immigration system and with the police too. The moment u land on their land, even transiting, they will arrest you. This can cause a problem in you getting PCC from QR. I suggest you get in touch with the bank and clear of your dues. Ask the bank to give you a Clearance & No Dues certificate once you have settled the amount. This will help you clear the QR immigration ban and obtain a PCC from police.

Hope this helps.

For all the people applying under Express entry...Use below calculator:

http://www.canadavisa.com/comprehensive-ranking-score-calculator.html

I know they have maximum 1200 points for the EOI, but what is the minimum score to qualify for PR application?

@ ahsan99

That is uncalled for. People like Century, Ashif_eee, Oscar7, shah2014, GSW, Palak, Optimist, CanOL, FutureCanadian, Dmitrych, Diplomatru, and many others have shared valuable information on this forum out of their own time. No one asked them to, they too could have just posted their timelines in the forum rather than guiding others. But they have utilized their time on the forum by providing this selfless service.

I can understand there is a lull in the forum, but it's not a given that the people who started this thread will always remain active. They have their own lives too to lead. If anyone needs guidance, it is still available in the thread pages. There is a trove of information available, one just needs to apply ones mind to search for it.

Sorry brother, but -1.

Guys i read a news on recent news paper that new Consul General has taken charge in bangalore.

it says "Under the leadership of Frank, the Consulate General of Canada in Bengaluru will be equipped with a visa and immigration service point for Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry."

does this means that the applicants from these states, it will be bangalore the visa office?

I send link of calculating points in Express entry. so its easy to calculate. No qualifying as such mentioned by CIC. Better the score better are chances for getting into pool :)

I totally agree with you MapleTon,, I have been following this forum since the beginning of the FSW. I received PER, RPRF and MRs...but I am still visiting this forum occasionally, and contributing my thoughts and feedback to fellow forumites. Some senior members might have left or busy with their lives...new members should continue the legacy and help future members.
If anyone would like to contact a senior member for any suggestion they can still send a message through this forum.. I got such messages from new members in the past and I responded promptly..
