Medical Request Cases

The medical examination is given around the world by designated medical practitioners (DMP). Regardless of the Canadian Immigration Visa Office to which the application is submitted, the services of a designated medical practitioner in any part of the world may be used.

Accompanying and non-accompanying dependents are required to undergo medical examinations. In limited circumstances, if a non-accompanying dependent is unwilling or unable to undergo a medical examination, it may be possible to have the individual exempted. However, such non-accompanying dependents will not be eligible for subsequent sponsorship as members of the Family Sponsorship category.

Pregnant cases:
For the safety of the fetus, X-rays are not taken of pregnant applicants until after delivery of the baby. After the birth, the mother and infant will undergo medical examinations.

Validity:

Medical Examinations are valid for one year from the date of the examination. You must undergo a new medical examination if your visa has not been issued within one year from your medical examination date.

Hi Friends,
I have a query regarding the PCC certificate. Is the police commissioner application faster or we should apply through PSK?And also how much time does a PSK take to issue the certificate in Punjab,India? Our consultant has advised us to get the PCC before the medicals request comes from the NDVO.We have received our PER on 2nd Dec.Kindly suggest..Thanks
If ur present address and passport address are same then psk issues pcc in one day or two..or else its a long business...but you have to take prior appointment from psk...whhich may be at times months together....so better to try directly approaching SANJH KENDAR.in punjab police stations you will get with in 2weeks.

not unemployed but changed job. So what docs should i share with them...appointment letter, roles and responsibilties, pay stubs??? i wonder if inquiry page will allow me to upload docs
What I did was to update the required forms (don't remember which ones and I don't have access to them now, sorry) with the new information and also added a cover letter explaining why I was submitting new documents. You don't need to share letters with your job responsibilities because you are not claiming points for that experience and also you don't need it because you already got per.
And yes, inquiry page lets you upload documents. Up to 2mb each one if I am not wrong.
Update: I forgot to mention that when writing an inquiry you should add your UCI, File Number and Date of Birth, as well your full name.

Please do not hire a consultant. Instead fill the plate of a beggar for 7 days only. Your chances of getting PR Visa would be more.

At chandigarh PSK walk in is allowed for PCC next day after applying online. As per cic website for Punjab PCC is required from SSP and not from SP.PCC from Passport Office is always acceptable.

What your consultant has suggested is correct. Get your PCC before Medicals to save time and send well in time so that you can fly early to Canada :)

I suggest the following;1) If your passport address and living address is same then take an appointment and apply PCC from PSK. You will surely get PCC in couple of hours.
2) If your Current Address and Passport Address is not same the i suggest take the PCC from Commisioner office. This is my view based on my experience.

My Passport address and Current Address is not same.
I applied for PCC from PSK, went walking and in 2 hours all formalities in were done and they told me they will send my docs to Commisioner office and post response from them they message me to collect PCC. Till this that was great.

It’s been more than 2 weeks still it’s not done and I followed up and hoping probably it will be done by next mid week.

Lesson Learn: I Should have applied PCC when I had got PER

*Option 2 is purely my opinion based on my experience.
