Hi Bro&Sis,

I received one email from SGVO saying that my employment references are not genuine and I have 30 days to submit additional documents.

For my application, I only submitted the reference letters with Name Cards. Is it the root cause? Now, I'm trying to get the HR certification from my previous and current companies.

Can anyone share what I should do? Million Thanks!

Email from SGVO:
...

Specifically, I have concerns that the employment references from ... which you have provided in support of your application are not genuine. I have noted that you have not supplied any additional information to substantiate this employment.

...

I would like to provide you with the opportunity to respond to this information. You will have 30 days from the date of this communication to submit additional information in this regard. LPlease respond using the email address at the top of this letter and clearly indicate your file number for all correspondence.

...
Gather whatever document could support your claiming of experience in that specific NOC.
Contract of employment, pay slips, HR letter, bank transactions from your employer to your account. Everything could be useful in your situation.
Good luck.

I am 20th Aug applicant (NOC-2173), I was under an impression that I have got some chances as couple weeks ago, I saw someone from 23rd Aug got charged for 2173. But today, I realized, I am out of the game because as "idefix" has mentioned someone from 17th Aug got his app returned because of the cap-out.

It's really heart breaking for me as I have waited so long for this, anyways before I get buried out, I wanted to ask my last question, how many people has got their app returned before 20th Aug (NOC: 2173) ?
Falling just before crossing the line must be painful. Sorry to hear that but don't give up! Apply under EE on January even if it seems harder to get in. Good luck with your future application!

Ask the HR or whoever in your firm who's up to the task to send a letter to VO from corporate email server to address their concerns.

I'm very sorry I had to be the one who broke the bad news for you.

In the Spreadsheet, several applicants had their applications returned. 13 august, 22 august, 17 august... it really looks like the last one was from August 12th.

Take a few days to absorb that then get ready for EE. This thread has some nice info: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/fswp-2014-ends-in-december-express-entry-details-out-t255128.0.html

Use this links to calculate your points: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp (there is a Beta calculator on CanadaVisa.com also)

And see the Spreadsheet on my signature to understand where you stand at. If your points are low, it might be a good idea to retake IELTS.

Cheers! +1 for morale.

Hi guys, i have a question on passport validity during PPR...do you guys know if ottawa asks for 1 year validity during ppr...i got medicals and only have it valid for 10 months....should i wait for ppr or go ahead and apply for new passport???

Your passport should usually be valid for at least 6 months when asked for PPR. But if you have a chance to apply for a new passport you should really do it now since your visa will only be issued till the expiration of the passport or one year whichever if sooner.

Yes I paid RPRF online.
