Hey all wonderful forum members!!! Very proud and happy to announce that I have received my PER 15 minutes ago... File applied- 13th Aug. DD charged- 21st November. NOC- 1224. :-*
Please tell me when can I expect medicals and what are the chances of rejection after getting PER?
Secondly, I have seen some cases in which even May applicants have not received their Medicals till now. Does it mean there is some problem in their files? Wishing good luck to everyone.

Dear Forumites kindly clarify whether spouse of Principal applicant of FSW will be free to work in their field after landing in Canada. Or is there any regulation which permits only PA to do the job.

PA and spouse can work in any field irrespective of NOC applied and can settle anywhere in canada except quebec.

AFAIK, you should let your local VO know once your file is transferred from CIO. Why don't you also email CIO and let them know too. Trust me, this won't affact your PR application in any -ve way

canadafsw3015, would you mind explaining what happened with your application, when did you found out that you ticked the NO instead of YES and do you have an example of your apologetic letter. thanks again.

I've already quoted that i've already seen few PERs for my acquaintances belonging to NOC 1212 so, no logic in being hopeless. Be hopeful guys, the sun will surely shines for everyone you guys just keep this flame alive.

My friend got his third line updated in the ECAS that (NDVO)

"Medicals are received"

PER 18th sept, MR 12th november

Does that mean that medicals are passed? ( in forum this is what is said )

Hope the PPR mail comes soon

The medicals are sent online to cic and are checked by medical experts in Canada.After acceptance the line is updated as medical received

PR information page on CIC clearly states that the spouse of principal applicant is free to work in any field they choose. wish you best of luch for your app.

No worries you will make it to the cap as it is a slow moving NOC. I think the completeness check for october apps is going on now. you should receive positive news brother.
