Dear Forumites kindly clarify whether spouse of Principal applicant of FSW will be free to work in their field after landing in Canada. Or is there any regulation which permits only PA to do the job.

Don't worry; you will receive PER soon. My DD was encashed on October 15 and didn't receive PER until November 13. June 27 applicant, NOC 1111

Does that mean that medicals are passed? ( in forum this is what is said )

Not exactly, one of my colleague from my office just received PER a week ago who too applied for 1212 and is August 8 applicant. So no problem in NOC, why should they have?

AFAIK, you should let your local VO know once your file is transferred from CIO. Why don't you also email CIO and let them know too. Trust me, this won't affact your PR application in any -ve way

I had done the same mistake. I drafted an apologetic cover letter, alongwith revised background form, photocopies of US visa rejection letters and sent it to my Visa office in New Delhi via courier.
Generally after your Medicals, your local VO does criminality check, wherein 1 of their checks includes verifying your information with the US immigration database too (generally for asylum, deportation etc.) but your student and tourist visa rejection will definitely crop up there.

Although, that's not a base to jeopardize your Canadian PR, but they might reject your case based on misrepresentation...now...after you get a PR and land in canada..or maybe even after you acquire a Canadian citizenship...you never know..quite uncertain situation to be in....

Hence, I suggest you send your local VO all these docs by courier. Declaring this now won't affect your PR application for sure..a 100% positive on that!!
