each case is processed differently at lvo, I 1st got just pcc requests (I didn't sent them along cos they are valid for 6 months only), in 2nd email I got request for rprf only........still no medical till 2nd email........in the 3rd email I got MR......this is rarely done...I mean people use to get all the 3 in one email normally........but from my experience I came to know that each case is processed differently at least at lvo.

u sent pcc with ur app......they are useless now, lvo will ask to submit new pcc. from Pakistan pcc validity is only 6 months.....from other countries it can be upto 12 months. so its useless to send pcc along app.

Hi Folks,
Someone in this forum asked me how to get PCC from comissioner's office in Bangalore. Here is the complete process that I followed/experienced (Re-producing from one of my previous posts):
Note: Taking PCC from Commissioner's office is faster but costlier than PSK process -at least in Bangalore
1. Documents you should accompany:
a. 6 passport size photos per applicant
b. Original Passport and Passport copies
c. Proof of Address and copies(such as PSU Bank statement or other utility bills such as gas connection/water connection/electricity bill. The bill should be in your name. For Address proof I submitted my Bank's account which is jointly held by my wife and me
d. You need to fill 2 application form per applicant ( Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) - – INR 200 and Police Verification Certificate (PVE) –INR 1000)

2. Ideally only PCC should be fine. But, the policewala at the “Single Window” counter would tell you that if you take only PCC they would mention in the PCC that this clearance is not for job. For job clearance, they told me, I need to take PVC

3. For each applicant this is how the application should be submitted at commissioner's office (better to accompany spouse) :

a. PCC
i. Fill the form for PCC
ii. Attach 3 passport size photo
iii. Attach passport photopcopy. My passport has my wife's name endorsed hence marriage certificate was not asked. Else, better to take along marriage certificate
iv. Attach address proof
v. Pay fee INR 200 and attach the payment receipt. The Bangalore one counter in commissioner's office would charge INR 5 extra
b. PVC
i. Fill the form for PVC (actually same form as PCC, you just need to tick the right boxes)
ii. Attach 3 passport size photo
iii. Attach passport photopcopy
iv. Attach address proof
v. Pay fee INR 1000 and attach the payment receipt. The Bangalore one counter in commissioner's office would charge INR 5 extra

4. Pay under the table money. Well how could we forget this 
5. You will receive 2 SMS per applicant. One for PCC and another for PVC. In our case we received these SMSes before we could reach home. The SMS would ask you to contact your Police Station
6. Take the following document to Police station
a. PCC and PVC
i. 6 passport photo again
ii. Passport and its copy
iii. Rental agreement
iv. Address proof you submitted above
v. You will be asked to write an application ( each for PCC and PVC per applicant) mentioning that you reside at the given address, that you are a citizen of India by birth, and that there is no criminal case against you in any police station across India)
7. Then a police wallah came to our flat and verified the address. He also gave us 4 copies of a form in which we were asked to take signature and address and of two of our neighbours
8. Next day we submitted this additional form also
9. You will get SMS again after 5-7 days that your certificates are ready and you need to go back to commissioner's office to collect the certificate. Do not forget to take along the receipt that you would have received when submitted the form in the commissioner's office
10. Please do clarify in your first visit to commissioner's office that whether PCC would be fine or PVC would also be required

Hi friends! My application was received by CIC on August 25. Paymode is DD, so I cannot check if it was encashed. Has anybody recieved PER already from that date? I have started worrying...

hello everyone,

i saw some posts having confusion over whether third line in Ecas 'medicals have been received' meaning..

can anyone clarify whether it means
i.... that medicals are passed or
ii.... that it is received at VO??

??
thanks in advance...Smiley

Too early to worry. CIC is mainly churning out 13th Aug PERS. They haven't moved in earnest beyond that.

But be cautious that if Visa Office reached a misrepresentation decision on the first application, the second one will not be processed because of 2-year ban on cases of misrepresentation. I advise to wait the result of the first application, if it goes well, then your will receive MR, but if they decide there is a misrepresentation in the first application, then they will stop its processing and will not process the second application, either!

Best advice that you will get !
You should be more concerned about the decision of first rather than planning to withdraw first and apply for second.
I think you should wait it out
Cheers !

Air Canada to launch non-stop service to Delhi
New Dreamliner route drives international expansion from Toronto global hub

MONTREAL, Dec. 4, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Air Canada today said that it will begin non-stop service from Toronto to Delhi beginning in November 2015. The new route, the first to be dedicated for Air Canada's Boeing 787-9 series aircraft, will open new opportunities in the Indian subcontinent, currently the largest international market not served by Air Canada.

"Air Canada's strategy to grow its Toronto Pearson hub and international presence is taking a major step forward with the addition of Delhi to our extensive global network. We will be offering the only non-stop flight from Canada to India using our newest Boeing 787 Dreamliners, which are revolutionizing long-haul air travel. The operating economics of these new aircraft make this service feasible and it will be the first route dedicated to the larger, 787-9 version of this aircraft, which begin entering our fleet in 2015," said Calin Rovinescu, President and Chief Executive Officer of Air Canada.

"This service will appeal both to customers visiting and doing business in Delhi, the capital region of India and the fourth most populous urban area in the world, and to those customers making onward connections within India and throughout Southeast Asia on our Star Alliance partner, Air India, or other interline partners," said Mr. Rovinescu.

"This government is committed to helping the Canadian air industry increase its access to international markets. Opening markets in India and continuing to facilitate travel for Canada's Indian Community, not only benefits our air sector and promotes increased trade, but travellers will now have more options to connect with friends and loved ones," said the Honourable Lisa Raitt, Minister of Transport.

"Canada and India are committed to strengthening economic and other ties and in a globalized world non-stop air linkages are vital to achieving such goals. Air Canada's new service will facilitate business relationships and promote increased trade by connecting both countries' largest urban centres. Given our country's vibrant and thriving Indo-Canadian community, the route will also make it easier for families and friends to visit one another and remain connected," said Nadir Patel, Canada's new high commissioner in the Republic of India.

Tickets go on sale Dec. 9, 2014 and the service will operate four-times-weekly beginning Nov. 1, 2015 using a Boeing 787 Dreamliner featuring Air Canada's award-winning, three-cabin service, including the next generation lie-flat seat in International Business Class, a Premium Economy cabin, and enhanced seatback In-Flight Entertainment system available at every seat throughout the aircraft. Flights provide for Aeroplan accumulation and redemption and, for eligible customers, priority check-in, Maple Leaf Lounge access in Toronto, priority boarding and other benefits.

Flights are timed for convenient connections both within Air Canada's North American network and in India on Air India or other interline partners to such cities as Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, and to other destinations throughout Southeast Asia. Including Delhi, Air Canada serves or has announced service to a total of 65 international destinations on five continents from its Toronto global hub.
