hey bro

thanks for the replly..just wanted to ask about pcc from ldh...whats the process ...they are issuing pcc verified by commissioner of ldh but on site it is mentioned they accept PCC verified by SSP

Hi Rahul

Regarding PCC, you can go about the PCC via old-school method via Police Station.

However, a more efficient method would be via PSK's (Passport Seva Kendra) website (http : / / passportindia dot gov dot in/AppOnlineProject/user/userLogin). I understand most of the applicants make the payment for PCC upfront on the website and then go on the date of the appointment. The trick here is to click on PRINT APPLICATION RECEIPT without making the payment. Carry that receipt to your nearest PSK betweek 9-11, make the payment there itself and you would have the PCC the same day.

Hope this helps.

Found from CIC website for those who are for EE/Follow the following link...

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/index.asp?expand=step1#step1

How Express Entry works
Express Entry will manage applications for permanent residence under these federal economic immigration programs:

the Federal Skilled Worker Program,
the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and
the Canadian Experience Class.
Provinces and territories will also be able to recruit candidates from the Express Entry system through their Provincial Nominee Programs to meet local labour market needs.

The Express Entry system has two steps:

Step 1) Potential candidates complete an online Express Entry profile
Potential candidates will complete an online Express Entry profile. This is a secure form that they will use to provide information about their:

skills,
work experience,
language ability,
education, and
other details that will help us assess them.
Those who meet the criteria of one of the federal immigration programs listed above will be accepted into a pool of candidates.

Anyone who does not already have a job offer supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) (if you need one), or a nomination from a province or territory, must register with Employment and Social Development Canada's (ESDC) Job Bank. Job Bank will help connect Express Entry candidates with eligible employers in Canada.

Candidates are also encouraged to promote themselves to employers in other ways, such as using job boards, recruiters etc.

In most cases when there is a job being offered to a candidate, employers will need an LMIA from ESDC. The LMIA process ensures employers have made an effort to hire Canadians for available jobs. There will be no LMIA fee for permanent resident applications.

Note: Entry into the Express Entry pool does not guarantee a candidate will be issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence. Invited candidates still have to meet eligibility and admissibility requirements under Canada's immigration law (Immigration and Refugee Protection Act).
Step 2) The highest-ranking candidates in the pool will be invited to apply for permanent residence

Step 2) The highest-ranking candidates in the pool will be invited to apply for permanent residence
Candidates will be ranked against others in the pool using a point-based system called the Comprehensive Ranking System. Points are awarded using the information in their profile.

Candidates with the highest scores in the pool will be issued an Invitation to Apply. Candidates will be awarded points for:

a job offer, and/or
a nomination from a province or territory, and/or
skills and experience factors.
A candidate can get additional points for:

a job offer supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment, or
a nomination by a province or territory
These additional points will make a candidate rank high enough to be invited to apply at the next eligible draw of candidates.

If someone is invited to apply, they will have 60 days to submit an online application for permanent residence.

Citizenship and Immigration Canada will process the majority of complete applications (meaning those with all the necessary supporting documents) in six months or less.

Candidates can stay in the pool for up to 12 months. If they do not get an Invitation to Apply for permanent residence within 12 months of submitting an Express Entry profile, they may submit a new profile. If they still meet the criteria, they can re-enter the pool. This will prevent backlogs and ensure quick processing times.

Entry criteria and the Comprehensive Ranking System
The Express Entry system will create a pool of candidates for immigration to Canada. Candidates will be assessed based on a number of criteria, and the highest ranking candidates will be invited to apply to immigrate to Canada.

There are requirements not only to get into the pool, but also to be chosen from it.

Pool entry criteria
To get into the Express Entry pool, skilled foreign nationals will need to meet the criteria of one of the federal immigration programs subject to Express Entry:

the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP),
the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), or
the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
You can read about the minimum criteria of any of these programs by using the above links. Or, you can use our online tool, Come to Canada, to see if you meet the criteria to get into the Express Entry pool.

Comprehensive Ranking System
The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is a points-based system that will be used to assess and score a candidate’s profile to rank them in the Express Entry pool.

The CRS will assess the profile information candidates submit, including:

skills,
work experience,
language ability,
education and other factors.
We have found these factors all play a role in economic success for immigrants once in Canada. Additional points will be awarded for candidates who have a job offer or a nomination by one of Canada’s provinces or territories under their their provincial nominee programs.

CIC will choose candidates from the pool through regular “draws”, choosing a pre-determined number of candidates with the highest scores from the pool and inviting them to apply to immigrate as a permanent resident.

A goal of Express Entry is to ensure strong links between economic immigration and the Canadian labour market. For that reason, qualified candidates who also have a job offer will get enough points to ensure they are ranked high enough to get an invitation to apply.

An employer will need to ensure the job offer is supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment. This process ensures they have first tried to find Canadians to fill job openings.

Similarly, a nomination by a province or territory, will give a candidate additional points to rank high enough to be invited to apply at the next eligible draw of candidates.

Similarly, a nomination by a province or territory, will give a candidate additional points to rank high enough to be invited to apply at the next eligible draw of candidates.

Comprehensive Ranking System formula
Express Entry draws
Under Express Entry, candidates who meet the criteria will be accepted into a pool of possible candidates for immigration to Canada.

Candidates will be ranked against others in the pool using a point-based system called the Comprehensive Ranking System. Those who rank high enough will be invited to apply for permanent residence in Canada.

Note: Entry into the Express Entry pool does not guarantee a candidate will be issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence. Invited candidates still have to meet eligibility and admissibility requirements under Canada’s immigration law (Immigration and Refugee Protection Act).

When candidates are taken from the pool, it will be called a “draw”. This means CIC will pick a pre-determined number of candidates with the highest scores from the pool. These people will then be invited to apply for permanent residence.

ITA draws will be made from the Express Entry pool on a regular basis. Every draw will have a set of instructions the electronic system will use to draw candidates from the pool. These instructions will be posted on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website before each draw.

These instructions will include:

the date and time of the draw,
the number of candidates that will get an ITA, and
if it applies, which specific immigration program(s) will be included in the draw.
If the instructions do not specify which immigration program the candidates must be eligible for, the draw will be based on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.

Managing ties in the CRS
It is possible for there to be a tie in ranking between two or more candidates who have the same CRS score. When more than one candidate holds the lowest rank included in a particular draw, all candidates holding that lowest rank will be drawn.

Dont worry Shah..!!!

You will soon get it.

Fingres crossed.... :) :) :)

Guys I need your help!

Regarding the requirement for my work experience, this is what is stated on CIC website: You must show that you did the duties set out in the lead statement of the occupational description in the NOC, including all the essential duties and most of the main duties listed.

My question is related to ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Are those the duties that I have performed on my work, including the most of the NOC main duties listed or they belong to lead statement of the NOC?

Thank you in advance!!!
