NOC: 2174
Application Received - 5th June'14.
PER Received - 9th Oct'14.
MR Received - 2 Dec'14.

Hopefully not, FSW will be in more priority than EE...they will finish it soon and will concentrate on EE afterwards ...Don't worry, we will be getting MRs soon.. but for PPR my assumption is it will start after Christmas only for almost all the applicants...

I have received my PER on 2.12.14, when should I expect NDVO to start back ground verification and send me MR request?

Also my address has changed, at what stage should I inform NDVO of this change?

Hello all,

I have a query related to ECAS. I got my UCI and App no. in PER mail but I am not able to check the ECAS status.

In my passport, surname is blank and in application I have written NA in surname field. Now in ECAS it is not identifying.....anyone with similar issue and if any resolution to this problem. I'll be thankful to you.

I also tried putting my first name as last name but unable to check ECAS...

Guys,

Is there a way to know about one's application besides ecas and email?
My application was received on september 2nd. According to the spreadsheet and reports, people from this date were charged 10 days ago. I haven't been charged. Is there a chance i still might? Or is it too late and I should just wait for the package to return (my mailing address is in Canada so it should be faster)?
Also, I haven't got any kind of mail or email, and there is no information on my e-cas (I have a UCI from a student visa).
I have sent 2 emails in the last 15 days and had no response. I tried to call them, but the attendants told me they weren't able to give me any kind of information and the only way to contact CIC about that kind of inquiry was through email.
I am getting desperate, since i am completely in the dark and have no idea how to know if they at least received the application. By now, I am just wishing my package comes back to me quickly so I can correct and resend my application in time.
Can anybody give any kind of info that can light my path?

yOU DON'T NEED TO UPDATE UR ADDRESS. VO IS JUST VERIFYING YOUR EXPERIENCE RELATED DOCUMENTS. May be the chances of verification in your workplace..

NVDO IS TOOO SLOW NOW DAYS..... MAY BE JULY APPLICANTS WILL TAKE 4 -5 MONTHS FOR WHOLE PROCESSING..
