Please seniors I am really in need of some advices:

Is it true that CIC will not accept applications in January 2015?

I applied on Oct 10. If there is any problem with my application and CIC returns it after January, will I be able to reapply? If not, doesn't that seem too harsh? I mean, let's say someone sent all the documents (IELTS, Reference letters, ECA, etc) but simply forgets to sign something and his application is sent back past or on January. This person simply can't reapply?

I am quite sure the NOC I applied to won't be filled but I could have applied to another one as well. Should I just go ahead and send another application just to be sure?

Harsh or not, that's how it works now. FSW will close in the last day of 2014.

If your application is returned in January, FSW will already be closed. So if you have doubts and want to send a new application, do so before December 31st. After that, EE is the only option.

Also, please update your profile so your info shows on the left pane so we know your NOC and timeline.

If I'm not mistaken I saw August 12th.

Are you from the PHD stream? If not, please correct your left pane so it shows FSW1 (standard FSW) and not FSW3 (PHD stream)

Thats the latest for now.

Whole PR process, and in fact life, is all about waiting for that next step, next success, isn't it... wait for PER, wait for MR, wait for ECAS update, wait for PPR, wait for passport with visa... and when one reaches Canada, wait for PR card, wait for 1st job and so on and on....

Don't worry, I am sure you will hear some good news soon and this experience will develop a lot of patience in all of us

PER received - 13th nov'14
Send CSE - 16th nov'14 ( enquiry about required documents to add my new born baby )
But still not getting any replay from SGVO. and Also yet to receive AOR.

So should I send CSE again or wait for AOR. Pls give suggestions.

Bro,

You have received PER on Nov 16. it will take 30/40 days to receive an AOR from SGVO from the PER date. As you have already raised a CSE you to wait for a while. Don't send any more CSE to SGVO. Otherwise your process will be delayed.

Hi Friends,

After a busy and extended weekend, I finally got back to let you guys know some good news I received last Thursday:
My lord Jesus gave me the grace and I received the golden PER email:
"Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship,"

I was so happy and I wanted to tell your guys right away, but I was travelling with no access to Internet.

The next step now is the AOR, right? is this an e-mail we receive from our local visa office? my VO is São Paulo.
