To all the folks from NDVO who have completed their medicals and have the 3rd line updated in ECAS, I believe it takes 7-10 working days to get the ECAS line updated after sending the document to NDVO, correct?

What was the maximum time one should wait for 3rd line to update in ECAS before raising a CSE?

Hello All,

Congratulations to those who has received their CC/DD charged, PER, MR, PPR & Visas and good luck for the further process.

I got my PER on 21-11-2014. Meanwhile, my husband's employment status has changed. Earlier he was on contract, now he is permanent in the same office. In my case I am the primary applicant and he is dependent. Do I have to inform NDVO about this?

it means it depends on visa officer ,if he feels that employer verification is required or POF verification is required then only it is carried out ..otherwise if they are satisfied there is direct MR

Bro verification is done on random basis for applicants, for some employment, for some POF, for some DOcs verification,
so it is very difficult to predict and verify.

Are there any quotas alloted to visa office for a particular year??????
According to my conversation with one of the consultant he said since NDVO has exausted the quota for this year so they will start issung PPR in Jan...

what does that mean ?

It says " we received confirmation of your file being opened and accepted by CIO.

your online file has been updated to reflect this information" . I think its a good news and you got your PER. If you want to verify ask him the UCI number and check your status online.

Tell him to share the email with you and confirm about "positive determination of eligibility" in that mail. Because when he says it is accepted, it kind of implies it is PER. But get it confirmed from your consultant.

These Instructions repeal, as of January 1, 2015, the Ministerial Instructions issued pursuant to section 87.3 of the IRPA and published in the Canada Gazette on April 26, 2014, for the management of applications in the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canadian Experience Class. For greater clarity, the repeal does not affect the processing of applications received prior to January 1, 2015, and considered under previous Ministerial Instructions issued pursuant to section 87.3, including the Instructions published in the Canada Gazette on April 26, 2014.

Whats the minimum Score required to be eligible for invitation ?

THERE WILL BE NO MINIMUM SCORE. INSTEAD, they are making a ranking through their electronic system which they will be using to send invitation to applicants.....hope it helps...

but 1 thing is sure, its gonna be tough...
