For NDVO, What's waiting time between MR submission and PPR request?

Dear,
Can your try getting an earlier appointment, as 20th Dec is late. (27th is the MR date)
After medicals it will take some days to get updated with VO, or if by 1% if some tests are asked to re-test, you will have less time to manage.

Try and convince your panel appointment to get you an earlier date, it is possible to get one earlier.

Friends.. On the MR form it is written - "You are required to undergo the medical examinations within 30 days of the date of this letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application."

There is no separate date written on letter, so I can assume the date I received the MR from VO, is the date of letter i.e. 27th Nov?? Please correct me if I am wrong.

Actually I have booked my medicals for 20th dec when my husband will be in India.. I hope its not too late.

Thankful to almighty and all friends at this amazing forum. Want to share good news of PER with you all :)

App recd: 13 Aug 14
CC charge: 15 Nov 14
PER: 2nd Dec 2014 12:15 PST (letter dated 1st Dec 2014)
NOC: 1111

Suggestions needed from friends / seniors

I got married last week :) and want to add my spouse as dependent accompanying. I am still waiting for my marriage certificate and related documents (expected to receive before weekend).

When and what should I intimate VO / CIC about the status change ? and what other steps I need to take in the meanwhile to reduce delays.

Wish you all good luck for your PPR / MR / PER / CC Charge.
Thank you :)

Congrats....

Here I am 15th Aug DD Applicant... No Update Yet...

Please keep me in your prayer......

Hello All,

I was wondering from which date 1 year initial visa validity starts ?

Is it date of MR..??

if that is the case, then people who are waiting for their stamped visa will effectively get much less time than 1 year to find a job in Canada, and to settle down..

Or does the 1 year validity visa start date is from date of stamping the visa..??

Kindly guide...

Yes, From the date of MR.

BTW less time towards 1 year, thats also correct

My Visa Office is NDVO. For RPRF payment, do I have option to pay online through credit card or I have to pay by draft only?

I am confused: the NDVO website says:

"Fees are payable in Canadian dollars or Indian Rupees. Only bank drafts (demand drafts) or certified cheques are accepted; cash is not accepted for fee payment. The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi"
