WOW its going to tough to scale through the EE criteria. its skewed towards having high IELTS scores and Canadian work experience. I ranked myself with the new criteria and I could only score 294 out of a total 600 points (not including the additional 600 points you score for arranged employment or provincial nomination) . Can you guys rank yourselves , lets see what the EE pool will look like ?

One thing I am certain of - EE is NOT for single applicants.

The place of birth in my passport is different from it is mentioned in the birth certificate.
Both the places are situated side by side and within the same district.
Please let me know what supporting document I should provide for the above discrepancy.

DOB certificate, and Place of birth on passport are not necessarily match together.
But, your DOB date, name should match exactly.
other than that, you dont have to worry much.

if you are not confident, dont use your DOB certificate.
rather, I advise you to use affidavit from your parents.

Guys, I'm a June 9th Applicant, received PER on OCT 6th (CPC-Ottawa 2174). I haven't received a request for MR or PCC yet!! My eCAAS still reads one line "We received your application on June 9th"

I see from the spreadsheet that june ending applications are getting MR and PCC requests from Ottawa VO. Is this normal?

I'm growing impatient with every passing day!! Anyone else in the same boat? may be we can start a whatsapp group and communicate!?

u may have to wait for 45-60 days before getting impatient.

IS IT A DIFFICULT SITUATION ? WHY NO ONE IS ANSWERING ME .. I WOULD HIGHLY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP, WHAT SHALL I DO ? IS IT NORMAL TO SEND THE OLD FORM ? SHOULD I RETURN IT WHILE I STILL CAN ? SHOULD I SENT AN UPDATE WITH THE NEW FEE PAYMENT FORM ?

Yes you should send new form asap. As applications are rejected or returned due to old forms.

Few PER's today and no single CC charge ..... new ministerial instructions and very very hard system starting first of January 2015 ... what a day

I hope they are not taking training in the new system and that they are just doing massive completeness check so they suddenly charge one month ahead

Hi dream4canada2015,
I don't think it is required.
Travel updates are not mandatory, if VO has concerns about your travel, they will request you to re-submit the travel form at a later stage.
I personally heard a case where HK VO asked the applicant to submit the travel form again before medical request.
so just hang in there and wait for further communication from Local VO.
best regards.

Thanks a lot..
+1 for your support.
:)

I found the opposite! They are giving a special rank for single applicants so that spouse's points don't need to count.

Also, you have to be young... I'm 32 and I don't have max points on age anymore.... FSW gave max points to age up to 35.

Actually , it doesn't matter because they give singles higher scoring chances to mitigate not having a spouse.

At this stage you can do nothing.
If possible, prepare another application, and sent it ASAP to be on safe side.
It may take 2 moths to get any type of status update on your application.

PLEASE ADVICE SENIORS ...

Hi everyone,

I have some questions regarding the form " Schedule 3 Economic Classes ":

1) In question No. 3b , Did your employer obtain a confirmation letter ( Labor market opinion ) from employment and social development Canada ( ESDC ) ? YES or No ?

2) In question no. 7c, Is your accompanying spouse or common-law in partner proficient in English or french ? ( I am applying alone , without any spouse, therefore what to answer ? Yes or No ? )

3) In question no. 9b, If applicable, has your accompanying spouse or common law in partner worked full time in Canada for at least one year ? ( As, I mentioned above, I am applying alone without claiming the spouse , Yes or No )

Please advice ..
