Hi Guys -

I have applied in July 2014 (NOC:2171), the application was received on 31st July (DHL confirmation). My mode of payment is DD. I haven't got any updates from CIC so far, I have sent email to (CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca) 15 days ago and I haven't received any reply other then their automated message. I am not sure whats going on. I have few questions for which I need your advise:

1. Is there any way I can check my application status? This is the first time I have applied so I don't have any UCI etc.
2. My DD will expire (6 months validity) on Jan 17th. If the DD is expired how can I get my money back? Is there any process somewhere documented.

Its the later. The numbers represent the Charged applications -PER/NER

Another advice is DHL tracking doesn't reflect the Current status after hitting a certain point in CAN- the actual delivery is done by another sub-agency and their tracking only gets updated a few days later. FED EX was suggest by many on this forum as a more effective option. Good luck

Why we are getting Pre-Screening very slowly is because of the following reason

Duty Roster At CIO Nova Scotia

9 to 10am - Warm-up
10 to 10:30am - Taking file for checking
10:30 to 11:30am - Breaktime
11:30 to 12:00pm - Taking file for checking
12 to 1:30pm - Lunch
1:30 to 2:30 - Warm-up
2:30 to 3:30 - Breaktime
3:30 to 4pm - Checking files
4 to 4:30pm - Arrange & clean to leave

Totally effective time is half to 1hr only

For RPRF , is it Bank Draft or DD ? What will be the currency Canadian Dollar or Singapore Dollar ?

RPRF attachment shows below two paragraph , my question is , is it applicable for Bangladesh.

""Singapore dollar payments must be made in the form of a CASHIER'S ORDER or BANKDRAFT, drawn on a bank in Singapore and made payable to the HIGH COMMISSION OF CANADA. Important: Bank drafts have a limited validity. Ensure that your bank draft is not older than two (2) months when it reaches this office.""

""Canadian dollar payments must be made in the form of a BANKDRAFT, drawn on a bank in Canada and made payable to the RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA. Important: Bank drafts have a limited validity. Ensure that your bank draft is not older than two (2) months when it reaches this office.""

Also where to pay "HIGH COMMISSION OF CANADA" or ""RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA"" ?

2nd line in my ECAS got updated today .

I'm expecting a medical request in coming 15 days .

I live in Pune , India . I know Ruby Hall Clinic is the authorised one to do this ..

So anyone from Pune can help me with all the details of medical and its charges appointment etc.
everything about medical and process further.
It'll be of great help ..

Also there are two doctors listed on the CIC website for Ruby Hall Clinic Purvez Grant and Neelima Limaye .. which one do you recommend .

See a lot of noise and ambiguity around our issuance of visa from NDVO... Not sure why we have already got visa and other are still kept waiting.
But just to authenticate that we are not faking.. the visa issued this time is not including photo.

That's a revelation really Truly impressive insight.
Canadian visas have no photo, be it TRV or any other counterfoil.

And having said that, I can post here plain text with a timeline for Canadian citizenship and claim I received Cit. test date. But people will say 'bullocks' because VOs review cases in FIFO order and either complex or not, the checks should be complete for early May applicants (according to other VO timelines). Yet we have NDVO pick three guys out of thousands, who have not been active members here. Sounds fishy.
