Hello everyone,

Is it too late for someone applying under NOC 1212? I have to start from the scratch i.e. I need to get my ECA. Rest of the things seem to be in order.

Any suggestions will help my decision a lot.

Thanking you.

Actually the so-called PER is the result of completeness check and evaluating the case against MI for FSWP 2014 program and IRPA. There is no processing at CIO after PER.

Hi Diplomatru,

Thanks for clarifying. Do you means the application gets transferred immediately post PER (forum word AOR).
I have doubts that they dont do any checks at CIO post Per (as per our forum word of PER, which is positive determination of eligibility).

I am sorry to misinterpret anything, but that what my thought process is.

PER is just an indication of completedness check of PR forms etc. It does not guarantee PR at all. PR's biggest test is based at two places:

1. CIO - where they do evaluation of your application post PER
2. VO - where they re-evaluate and do background checks and finally MRs etc to give a green signal.

Therefore it is a long path still, stay put there.

Having a little hard time following your post there.

Are you saying CIO still carries out checks after they have issued PER ?

I believe application transfer to the local VO is the next step post PER and CIO is out of the picture once this is done.

I had updated passport.. waiting for communication from NDVO for Medical.
Do you advise me to inform the passport update before they send the medical request?
in my opinion u inform vo about passport update after mr otherwise ur mr will be delayed! Although vo advises not to update passport before medical. But there is no harm if u have updated ur passport!!

What do you mean? He received the rejection letter with his application.

I mean he is still exploring the ways to send the experience letter justifying the case to the immigration officer. And if thats the case, he should continue to explore getting expert legal opinion.

Hi guys

Today my ecase changed from two lines to four lines also the title Inprocess changed to Decision Made.

Do you think it is a good news?

Hi kris00,

The CIO processing routine looks this way:

Receipt/lock-in date => completeness check => cost recovery => data entry => review of eligibility (email sent) => file transfer to VO

He has to apply from scratch. Sending a new reference letter will not work as they don't hold his application.
