Hello to you guys, I am an August 13 app under NOC 3012, living in the Phils. My husband had been working in a mining company in Sierra Leone West Africa on rotational working shifts of 6 weeks work in Sierra Leone and 3 weeks vacation in the Phils. I have declared the details in my cover letter. Just to be sure re police certificate, my husband tried to secure a police clearance from Sierra Leone but was not allowed to travel from his worksite to police station due to Ebola precaution and travel security, so he tried to secure police clearance from a nearby town there called Bumbuna. I attached the certificate in my application together with our local police and NBI clearances. His last arrival from Sierra Leone was Sept. 12, and from then on was not given exit clearance from our immigration in the Phils. Until now he is still employed and receiving his monthly salary but has never came back to his work site and still waiting for further announcement from his employer in Sierra Leone. What do you think guys can be an issue with our application? I will much appreciate any suggestion as to what to do regarding this concern?thanx

Hi,
Who is the primary applicant - You or your husband?
Regarding PCC - Since, it has been issued within Sierra Leone...No worries at all, it is acceptable but should not be more than 6 months old.
Since he is still employed so there is no issue at all.....if he would have been unemployed also but with experience of 1 year full time...then also no issues....The only issue I van see that there can be delay in processing of application as he has travelled to an Ebola affected country.....Please refer Ministerial Instruction No.13 on the following link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/mi/

A request for guys who understand DD charging by CIO, as in this forum 13 Aug, 30 Aug applicants have been charged and some of the july applicants and mid august applicants are still waiting for DD charging, what is this all about? Can someone who understands this explain?

Friends,

I read a lot that, CIC makes 3 attempts to charge CC.

Can you please tell, within how many days gap they make these attempts "CC charge"?

Reason being,
I have applied under two NOC's:

I am expecting PPR for for my First application.
"VO: CPC-O, PER: Sep 23rd, Status :3) Meds received, PPR: Expecting soon"

But, I am expecting CC charge by Nov 20th for my second applications.
I think I dont need to pay for second app, since my first app is reached PPR stage.
Planing to Block my CC, so that CIC cant charge.

Friends,
please suggest what shall I do Now?
1) Shall I keep the second app in processing as a safe game?
2) or Shall I go ahead and cancel my credit card?

Need your advise..Please...Please.....!
Just ask CIC to return or cancel ur second application

Dear all,

My cousin applied under NOC code 2132 and application reached on 25th Nov. Any chances of NOC being capped much earlier. NOC 2132 is getting filled up fast as I can see.
Thanks!

Hey,

I'm not expert but looking at previous back to back CIC cap updates ,they are upto date with 2132 Cap .I believe oct-14 should be difenately in ,but Nov 25th would be tough , but you never know and it is not worth to compare 2132 CAP vs 2172 /2173 cap update considering 2132 population.

^^Purely my opinion/understanding

+1 for your contribution!!

I am stuck in no man's land. Charging for 2171 stopped at 2nd sept. No news on whether 3rd will go in or not. 27th Nov I got an email from them, but not sure if it is indicative enough that im within the cap......

Hard times :(

Good Luck to you for the rest of the process!!

Thank you! +1
If you are paying with DD it might have been charged already. And before you say that - banks know jack about cheque cashing date...

But just in case, do you have any 2172 JD?

1+ for you.... :)

I think PCC validity varies...the one issued by SSP office in India clearly states that it is valid for 6 months...Please double check.....

Hi everyone,

I have some questions regarding the form " Schedule 3 Economic Classes ":

1) In question No. 3b , Did your employer obtain a confirmation letter ( Labor market opinion ) from employment and social development Canada ( ESDC ) ? YES or No ?

2) In question no. 7c, Is your accompanying spouse or common-law in partner proficient in English or french ? ( I am applying alone , without any spouse, therefore what to answer ? Yes or No ? )

3) In question no. 9b, If applicable, has your accompanying spouse or common law in partner worked full time in Canada for at least one year ? ( As, I

mentioned above, I am applying alone without claiming the spouse , Yes or No )

Please advice ..

Dont know much aboyut schedule 3 but logically thes answer to question no, 2 & 3 seems to be NOT APPLICABLE

Additionally, Application has already moved to VO so there is nothing CIC can do now...
Hi Friend,
it should be CIO, not CIC, CIC includes CIO and Local VO.
but i got your point, and i fully agree with you... :)
