Hello Seniors.

I wish to apply for Singapore PCC from within india as i lived there in 2008-09 for 9 months..

Is it possible with PER email only ? Will it be convincing to Singapore Police if I write them email and provide them with all required docs and fees they need?

I am guessing that PER email's printed copy will be enough for them to see that I am in need for canada immigration. as the rules are pretty clear to them that canada immigration needs it for sure.

Please help if somebody has got it

One Vikram_IDBI got his DD encashed. 03.09 appl. NOC 0111 :o :o :o :o :o

Hi All,

Just want to pop up to share my personal experience about my application.
This morning, i just received my PER after a long long long anxious wait with numerous sleepless nights.

NOC: 2133
File received: 2014-July-16th
CC Cashed: 2014-Nov-14th
Visa Office: HongKong

In addition to the information above, i'd like to share something else about my application i believe which will put a lot of members in ease while waiting for their applications to go through.

Issues i have in my application.
1: All translations and notarization are sent in printed photo copies only, not original translation and notarization. regarding this, some forum members told me that this will be a definite return issue. so based on my experience, anyone having the same issue can rest in ease, this is not an issue at all.
2: My son's birth certificate is in both English and my native language(Chinese), i mean, one line in Chinese followed with another line in English as translation, but for the names and place of birth and everything that are filled after my son's birth, they are only in Chinese, i once believed that CIC officers will be highly likely not to be able to read Chinese names, but the result turns out to be fine, not an issue at all.
3: in the experience form where education years needs to be listed, i didn't put 0 or N/A in apprentice field, because i never thought it applied to me. it never crossed my mind that i need to fill 0 or N/A, this negligence really gave me a lot of sleepless nights. but luckily, this never created a problem either.
4: The letter of reference only listed a couple of lines about my duties, 3 lines for Electrical engineer(2-year experience), and 4 lines for electronic engineer(4-year experience), i thought the chances of convincing the immigration officers that i'm qualified for this NOC is very slim, but reality proves i was wrong. and i'm more than happy to be proven wrong this time.
5: the place of birth on my wife's birth certificate is different from the place we filled in the forms, because in the birth certificate, it gives a more detailed place than the place filled in the form which is a city name.

so despite all the small issues which i believe many of the fellow forumites may also encounter, my application successfully went through, i hope my experience can boost some confidence for others who are still waiting. if you notice that my cc charge date is about 2 weeks later than the normal trend, about which i was desperate and feeling hopeless, but yet, it's not a problem. so just hang in there, and wait for your turn. because each case is different from others, i believe a 2 weeks time disparity from the normal trend can be quite normal.
hope my experience can help some friends here.
good luck everyone.

Congratss :)
Thank u for giving me some hope. 18 july applicant and still didnt hear from cio. Sent them an email on oct 26 and no reply yet

[size=20pt] GUYS IM BACK!! After weeks of depression because of my refusal letter 20 days ago, I am finally back. I just want to share this experience to everybody who got a refusal letter or NER (instead of PER) and think that the refusal is unfair. I tried calming myself first, weighed all the points that CIC did not consider, and tried to put everything in an EMAIL or Fax it to CIO..Just be brief and concise..and SEND IT..wait patiently and still if there is no response after a week..Consult a Barrister Lawyer, the one who handles Judicial Review Case against Unfair CIC decisions...Present your case for Judicial Review because you have 15-60 day after you receive the refusal to contest the decision of any Visa Officer... The downside is the lawyers fee is 250$/hr...so I presented my case to this lawyer and even him was infuriated because I got 75 point total instead of 65 as per CIO refusal letter..So he prepared a letter stating all the facts and points and have me signed and attached all the supporting documents and sent it to the address found in my refusal letter... One clause I remember is "I HAVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK A JUDICIAL REVIEW IF NO ANSWER WILL BE RECEIVED FROM CIO".. The thing is He did not even charge me for that day and were chatting 2 hours about the case. He didn't charge me because he felt my depression as well and he is convinced that CIO messed up things for me..So just the other day...I received an email with a POSITIVE ELEGIBILTY REVIEW..now I am waiting for my medical...JUne 18 Applicant here...CC charged October 7.... Hope this helps..

Pretty inspirational...
Congrats bro!

You can get a second IELTS TRF. You applied to CIC, hence you are eligible for a duplicate. Go to your IDP/BC provider and speak with the manager. Also recomend you to send a query to CIO concerning the status of your app. They will revert in 45-50 days, but it's better than nothing. DIY is the most advisable scenario here, most of us have done it without third parties.
..

Thanks again! I got the following information from the forum. Would you confirm if it is right and accurate?

E-Mail Address for Enquiry about application:

CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca

Please include below info on the email body:

Put your Passport Number
Put your Date of Birth
Put your Full Name
UCI Number (if any)
NOC code
App rcvd date

I dont have any UCI number. As mentioned I havent received any such number. Have to mail to check if my application is in quota or not. So guessing its not required. Pls. confirm.

Thanks for help Optimist. +1 for that.

For the affidavit, hope i should send original from the notary and not a photocopy of that?
B/w...i remember we had a conversation earlier on getting IELTS TRF from British council. were u able to get that....

Regards
Jamie

Copy of affidavit is fine. Check lists state that "dont send originals unless clearly stated, because we might ask for originals at a later stage", hence please preserve it and send only photocopy.

I did get second copy of TRF. There is an escalation matrix which I followed and escalated till South India head. Then some one from BC called me and we have 1 hr discussion. Finally I threatened them for showing discrimination, that they issued second copy to some and not issuing to me... Next day they came back and said, please send us the photocopy of the DD. I sent them the same along with Rs.250/- DD and they send me the TRF..

Are you still in need of TRF? They are acting very slow. Hurry up if you have to get it.

Thanks for the +1.

Great! This (challenging NER) definitely will help those who are facing this. Guys go through your application and points of rejection if you still are not convinced then try for challenging that decision. Ray of hope.
