One of my friends just came to know from his bank that his CC transaction failed because the ccv number is wrong. Is there ANY WAY he can rectify this.

Can the bank accept/approve the payment based on his instructions, even if ccv is wrong?

Is there a way he can contact CIO immediately and give them the right ccv?

Can he call the CC company and ask them to approve the transaction?

YOUR HELP IS REALLY APPRECIATED. I am having goosebumps since I heard the news and feeling as if this is my app.

Hello All
One of my friend has recieved PER and is in process of getting MR.
He is a Nepalese citizen but has stayed in india for his higher secondary study (for 2 year) and later on after completion of his bachelors searching for a job from july to jan of 2006/07. He doesn't have proof of his stay since he stayed in Delhi with his friends in 2006/07. His character certificate specifies period of stay in india around 1999/2000 to 2000/2001. So how will the police clearance certificate be provided. Does his police clearance certificate mentions his period of stay (both stays) or is just a letter specifying that his conduct in his stay in india is satisfactory without specifying the duration of stay. ?

Questions to Seniors,

1. I have placed bar code pages of Generic Form in sequence at no 6 and 7. Is that ok Huh (I have read they need to be at top)


2. In Intended NOC. I have written for example 217X and in description missed one alphabetic letter. (NOC number is ok but slightly one letter missed from description) is that ok ?


Please guide.

My query is this: my PP got stolen in an attack and we are already applying for a new one. although I already sent a mail to my VO on this but I want to ask do I need to raise a CSE for this? if yes, how do I go about it?

You can do it via following link if your VO is NDVO

Else search "dmp-portal VO Name" on google to get the address to raise the concern.

Sorry to break the ice
but Wrong CVV will most likely lead to declined payment and hence return of application.
As per my limited knowledge I do not think that even the request will not be entertained by Bank.
and there is no such quick way where you can correct this mistake quickly enough !
Sorry but I think the application will be returned back.

Hi Guys

I need some advice urgently.
I had applied for FSW 2014.
When I had made the application I was in India and moved to a different country and changed my job like 2 months ago.
Received my email for "Positive determination of eligibility" around a month ago.
Now I received email from Delhi embassy for medicals and PCC last week.
Now since I am in a different country and changed my job so I need to get these updated in my application and I so believe my application need to move to the Canadian embassy here from the Canadian embassy in Delhi.
I have already sent email to CIO, Sydney about the change in my circumstances and asking for advice how to go about getting this updated in my file and further course of action.
I did the same with Canadian embassy in Delhi through the online form on CIC website.
I have not received any reply from any of of the 2 offices yet.
the time is running fast because they have given me a deadline for submitting medicals and PCC however in the changed circumstances I am not sure what to do.
Can you please provide some guidance how to handle this situation and if you have any other email id or something where I could explain my position to CIC, please share with me.

1: It's not an issue. Yesterday I read for a man with similar mistake and he got PER.
2: I guess it will be not a problem.

need your advice on this, i applied for FSW and sent my PCC along with the application didnt send my spouse PCC as it was taking time.
Now We are in bangalore and i have shifted from the old place which was given in my passport. We are staying in new place in bangalore from aug and my wife passport is from other state which was taken before marriage.

Since my spouse passport is less than year old she should get the PCC the same day if we go to other state PSK.

While filling the online form it asks for marital status if we mention married then do they ask us to add the husband and wife names to each other passport or its our decision.

So to get PCC shall i submit the request in bangalore and let them check both the places and send me the PCC if yes how much time it takes any guess?

also one more query i am staying in new apartment from past 4 months can i attach the rental agreement for PCC or how is it?

a quickly reply from people who had been in similar situation would help and save lot of time.

Not exactly. There are lot of silent applicants who wont even care to update the spreadsheet

there is a drastic drop in number of new applications
registered in SS
Just 65 # in last ten days as compared to 806 # in first ten days.
is FSW 2014 loosing steam !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to your old passport office and get your pcc done.It will hardly take a few hrs.Don't waste your time by applying for pcc from your new address.
