"All eligible applications received before January 1st will be considered for processing based on current guidelines. Fees will be charged for each one."

It means the programme will end on December31. Am I right ?

I discussed about the same thing with a senior on the forum and he informed me that bank has intant access to such information over their system. So may be your bank officer is right, but we have seen cases where bank denied about the dd encashment but people got PER and realized that DD was encashed.

So suggest you to cross varify or recheck.

Absolutely right Vind. Front desk will have to rely on information / MIS sent by Fx ops team, but in the absence of such data, will not be able to tell exact status as they don't have access to the nostro and Fx clearing system. But the Fx ops guys (outward remittance team) or anyone having access to nostro and Fx clearing system will be able to tell real time status of the DD, based on debits to the banks nostro account.

The dilemma among forumites about the duration of fsw 2014 programme comes to the end.
The cic has made it clear that they will accept the applications under the current system by December 31 only. So those who are waiting to apply should hurry up...... and those who are taking up ielts test after December 10 should prepare themselves for express entry. .....

That means cic will mark full stop at files around 15000 and not fill up all occupations upto 25000
