Sharing an information that I noticed today, specifically for anyone applying now for FSWP 2014. CIC has updated the main form i.e. IMM0008 probably just a few hours back. This one doesnt have the column for specifying "Immigration office requested" so, anyone in process of filling the forms plz make note and use the latest version.

I have been a silent observer for the last 1 month.

Today, with god's will, I received the PER email.

My details are as follows:
NOC: 2171
App Date: 30 July 2014
VO: NDVO
DD charged: 10th Nov

Thanks to this forum for guiding me about the process and the timelines.

I had 2 questions:
1. What/when will be the next correspondence with the CIO?
2. What website can I enter my UCI # to confirm my application?

I have a Very important Question for experts please ..

I'm planning to send my application this week( I'm waiting for the Bank to finish the Demand Bank Draft ) .. but firstly I would like to make sure that I meet the requirements of my NOC .. NOC 3233

this NOC is subdivided into 2 main categories : Licensed Practical Nurses ... & .. Operating room technician

[ Licensed practical nurses perform some or all of the following duties:

Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures

Perform nursing interventions such as taking vital signs, applying aseptic techniques including sterile dressing, ensuring infection control, monitoring nutritional intake and conducting specimen collection

Administer medication and observe and document therapeutic effects

Provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care

Monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy

Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team

Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families.


Operating room technicians perform some or all of the following duties:

Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving and sterilizing the patients' operative areas

Assist in surgery by laying out instruments, setting up equipment, assisting surgical teams with gowns and gloves and passing instruments to surgeons

Clean and sterilize the operating room and instruments.

my letter of reference has all the duties of Operating room technician ( I mean it matches that found on hrsdc website but of course not copy&paste ) , and it states that I was working as an Operating Room Technician ... but I didn't make any of the duties of the Licensed practical nurses , is that a problem ? am I eligible to apply ? or I should do both duties to be accepted ?

At the medical check up they will also assess psychological and psychiatric history. My husband has them since we are back in our home country.

Could that cause any problems???

minor psychriatic history already under treatment will be of no problem.
but do not try to hide it, your urine sample will show what drugs you are taking
do not be streesed due to this. your bp may increase.
keep yourselves cool
whatever destined will happen
you can not change it

Note: carry previous prescriptions showing the medications he is taking

Hi friends.... Ecas updated with third line " Medical result have been received"...

So how soon NDVO may request passport..? Seniors any idea..? Since I am working abroad, I need to plan accordingly as my employer needs min 2 months period for approving resignation... And in other way, is it secure by sending the passport by courier, if I cannot reach india while NDVO request for passport..?

Also will NDVO accept the passport that are having an existing work visa..? Is there any legal issues over there to stamp visa while holding another work visa..?

It is not legal to send passport outside your country. Please read the terms and condition on the passport.
