Can someone clarify this for me? My friend told me that the Consulate will only ask for the passport if a visa stamp is needed for entering Canada. Otherwise, they will issue the visa sticker at the arrival point when we go through the landing process. (All passports that I hold do not require a visa stamp to enter Canada as tourist.)

I yet have to hear back from the London Consulate after Decision Made showed up over the weekend.

I am wondering if the status should be in process or decision made

Decision made should be only when they ask you for Passport for visa stamping or when they will stamp visa in your passport , so wait patently for this event to occur.

It will be good if you can supply your forum profile with more information like Noc code /Visa office name / PER date/ MR date.

Hello Everyone,

I have applied in 28th july and have not got any response from CIC till now and my CC has also not been charged.

I have recently changed my home address.

If CIC rejects my application and sends back the packet to my home address then I will not be able to get the packet.

What should I do in this case ??

Can I ask CIC to send the packet to different address if the application is rejected .

Please advise.

We know that the NDVO does not send the AOR and the second line updation of "Processing started" happens after some days of file transfer. So going by the speed of the Second line updation around mid of June, any idea where are we with the AORs in NDVO. This is mystery even more as NDVO does not send AOR email. SS seems to suggest there are folks from other VOs and application date of july first week who has got AOR.

[In ECAS it is updated as "IN PROCESS". Inside it is written as "We received your

application on 23rd July". May I know what will be the next step and how much

time it will be taken.

How much time from here DD encashment will be taken.

DD is already encashed, next step will be MR after successful background checks at your concerned VO. As per LVO in another 30-45 days you should get your M.R

Ohk... mine is from delhi but i applied online on delhi police site & it was delivered on my mail id after 2 days.

Really confused whether this is fine or not.

i sent a RPRF draft( to NDVO) for cad$490 payable at canada in the
name "reciever general for Canada". as the draft made in $ cannot
be made payable in india. did i do the right thing ?
i am getting worried as their is no way of knowing that draft was ok
or not

As per my understanding you did not do the right thing.. You should have made a DD in INR.. Payble at "Canadian High Commission". You can send an email to NDVO and check with them if you need to send a new DD in INR.. They are prompt (3 to 4 business days) in replying. If you have done it right then NDVO will send your DD to Canada and get it encashed.. So, in actual sense you have delayed your timeline only.. You should have posted this question before sending the CAD DD.. By the way you can still check with your bank if the DD has been encashed or not..

LVO even doesn't send AOR(s), it's least significant, just pray you get your MR soon through email. So it's pertinent to mention, "DO KEEP ON CHECKING your mails and all concerned folders including bulk and spam"
