Recently I renewed my passport after applying to FSW.
Can some one please tell me the procedure to update same to Visa Office or Immigration office ?

I am from Abu Dhabi... You don't need for any request to get a PCC from UAE. I sent my PCC with my application, which reached CIC on 17th sept. If you are in Abu Dhabi, just go to Marina Mall and apply for the PCC on Police Counter at ground floor, near Paris Gallery. Thats it.. They only need your valid visa copy. take original passport for safe side. They will ask, to whom you want to address in PCC. That will be Embassy of Canada. Thats it. Its very easy, don't worry. Its better to get your PCC before MR, RPRF and PCC requests.

bro i am in sharjah, my passport is with the employer, they wont give me my passport before cancelling my visa, after cancelling my visa can i apply for pcc? after cancellattion i will get 1 month grace period, is there any legal issue applying for pcc in grace period?

Congratulations my friend.

Send the new passport number along with the Covering letter to indicate the changes. This should be sent through mail to VO. Also send a CSE

Authorities will definitely ask for your original passport. How they will verify your identity? You have to convince your employers giving Solid reason for taking the passport for few days and then apply for PCC.
