No you need not to have same NOC to claim points. There is a NOC matrix guide to understand that. As per cic application guide 7000 If your NOC falls under NOC level 0, A or B as per matrix you can claim points for that experience. You need to provide detailed Job duties and other supporting documents for each occupation.

Download matrix here

Good Luck

Dhruvil, pls clear your inbox. Vind is right. Vind, I am still karmafied.
For points in work experience, any experience in any NOC will do. Appropriate employment ref letters need to be produced though.
For qualification (not points), you need to have at least 1 year experience in the NOC applied.

sorry to hear that you application is back. The ECA must accompany with degree and mark sheet for the safe side. As far as the work experience is considered senior would guide you if you can share the content of your experience letters that you have submitted.

The instructions require that applications must be complete according to the application kit requirements in place at the time the application is received at the CIO. In addition, the application must be reviewed for completeness pursuant to Regulation 10 of IRPA. Moreover, Regulation 12 of IRPA states:
"If the requirements of sections 10 and 11 are not met, the application and all documents submitted in support of the application shall be returned to the applicant."

If you mentioned that you have a national ID in your application and you did not provide an evidence, that might be a problem
If you did not mentioned that you have national ID, I do not think its a problem.
I think the national ID is supporting document, unlike the birth certificate which i think its mandatory.

This just my opinion.

thanks for the opinion, pharm!! that's exactly my worry, because i've mentioned that i have one on the generic form :( :(
but there's nothing more to do now... just to wait and see what is gonna happen! besides i've sent the BC's (copies and translations) and the copies of the passports...
regards.

One of my friend,29th Aug applicant , NOC:0113, CC charged just 2 mins back....just sharing with forum....i m feeling good as i helped him to send his file and without saying this forum helped me a lot...

I have seen lots & lots of applicants question about how to make an enquiry or should they inquire or where should they inquire? Month ago i have shared my experience about making an enquiry. Where i mentioned that i emailed using the both enquiry address of CIC. One is the CSE site & another is the centralized-intake-office@ cic.gc.ca I got reply from both of them. My application reached on July 14 and i sent an enquiry about my application status on July 18. Yes just after 4 days. Again on August 17 i emailed. This time i used the CSE. On October 1st i received a mail from CIO that they don't have any record of my application. And by this time all of you know that when CIC doesn't put your application for completeness check they will say that they don't have any record of your application. Anyway they asked to provide courier name and to give scan copy of the courier receipt. I did accordingly. But again i used CSE as well as CIO mail. On October 15th i received a mail from CIO, YES CIO(within 14 days) that they have received my application and it's in processing and they will contact with me. In the meantime On November 6th i received PER. And as usual i forgot about the enquiry that i did through CSE. And last few days i didn't check my mail. Today when i checked my mail i saw that i got a reply from CSE email. And they informed me that my file has already been transferred to SGVO :D ;D :D ;D

SO, what do we learn from here? Applicant's there is no reason to be afraid off making an enquiry early. And you can both use the CIO mail address as well as CSE site. You will definitely receive an answer. And you can inquire anything regarding your application. So stop worrying. Send an inquiry as early as possible. After reading my info if you don't or can't understand they i donno what to say. My info is very very crystal clear about making an enquiry using CSE & CIO address.

I can assure you, none of the member's applications have been rejected for submitting just slightly old forms.

Its a different thing if you submit very very old forms though.
