Everyone whose application has not been DD'ed or CC'ed, please note that if it is not DD'ed or CC'ed before 31st Dec, 2014, you might be dumped into the Express Entry pool of applications starting on 1st Jan 2015 or at least you will be offered either of the two options 1)return you back your application without charging you OR 2)-Transfer your application to Express Entry pool of applications.

No, that is not going to happen. The quote you mentioned nowhere hints at the interpretation you came up with. People have to separately apply for express entry if they want to be considered under express entry. Old applications will not be "dumped" or transferred over to express entry as a default.

My application is received by Mike on 2nd September, NOC is 4011. Still I didn't get any email or CC is not charged yet. Is there any chance to hear anything (positive or negative) by next week?

Either it will fail or it will be very tough to get through.

EE is designed after Australian EOI. And in EOI there are 189 and 190 visa sub-classes. 189 is independent (based on high demand occupations), 190 is nomination based. So, basically, if your job allows to lodge an app for 190 visa, it's easy-peasy. For instance, my occupation - translator is not listed as high-demand job, and 189 would be the only option left for me. However, the nomination is not limited to employers only in this case. Australian states have their osn high demand occupations lists, and can pick an applicant too. What makes EOI so awesome is that involves getting your skills and education licensed by the authority that governs the industry. For instance, translators need to secure NAATI license before lodging the app. It's a costly process, but it allows you to apply for a job on day one after landing. Whole process is electronic, just scan your docs and apply. 6 months processing after lodging.

In a few words Canada is light years away from Aussie in terms of immigration program efficiency.

once u r charged.....ur money are non refundable.......normally people who are charged do receive PERs.....atleast this year no one has got rejected after being charged. so if u r charged......sit back and relax, u will have ur PER.

but again once charged......and if someone got rejected later on medical basis at last stage of application......then the fees is not refunded.

Not true. There are quiet a few cases of NER.

Hi all...my application was returned in august and i had sent rectified application again and it reached on 4th september. Just want to know is there any chance of getting it reject again due to other reason? I mean rejection was due to birth certificate issue. Can i assume all other documents are in order? So if i have sent rectified application can they reject for other reason? Can i assume other completeness check is perforned and other documents are perfect?

For the proof of funds is that mandatory to submit the authorized bank statements from the Bank or I can submit the print out of my E-statements ?

As last time I am living in Thailand, so asking for the authorized statements from my Indian Bank where I had kept the savings will take atleast 3-4 days via courier (from India to Thailand).

Looking forward for your kind advise.

E-statements are okay for initial submission. If you are sending E-statements alone, it's better to send it for at least 3 months.

But Australia don't need job offer in all cases, only in some cases they do - like in some occupation for South Australia, West Australia and Northern Territory.
Yes if someone is eligible for 189 is independent (based on high demand occupations), then he is automatically eligible for 190 (State Sponsorship) and 489 (Regional Sponsorship) .
I Hope Canada also award some points like Australia do 5 points for 190 Visa and 10 points for 489 Visa.

In case is EE works same on Australian Immigration Process EOI, then it will be very easy and Very fast.
Lets see the whole EE Process is still not clear.

Yes, absolutely right - an applicant needs to have a job offer in order to apply in Express Entry 2015 program,

guys I m reading that people are more afraid of express entry then worried.

it is true that those people should fear it rather then worry for it because of following reasons.

1. the application process is online in express entry, that is u no more need to download and fill any forms manually. whole app package will be available online. it can be like the CES/WES system that 1st u make an online account type thing, then u fill in the forms online and submit them with CC payment, or else opt for DD. your app will be submitted, ur online account will be created and ur status will be shown there. as soon as u start submitting docs like IELTS, ECAS....ur online status will begin to show it that which doc is received at cio on which which date. as soon as all the docs are received, ur app will be considered complete.

Note: note that cio will not demand u the payment at this stage, if u have provided CC then also it wont be deducted. the reason is in the 2nd point below. but there will be online application fees...it can be from CAD$ 100 to CAD$ 300.

2. now cio will put ur app into the pool of apps for employers to assess ur profiles. there will some sort of online system where employer will check for potential candidate and selects them. after selecting them, they will inform CIO about it. as ur app will remain in pool for next 2 years, it is illogical to demand payment from the applicant cos no one knows if the applicant is get selected or not. so if applicant submitted DD then it will be expired in next 6 months and cio wont bother to return it so it will get wasted. hence no payment is required until this process.

3. in the 3rd stage now cio will demand u to submit ur payments, as soon payment is charged, u will receive ur PER. from now onwards the procedure will be almost the same as it is in FSWP2014. u will get AOR depending on VO, MR, RPRF, PCC, PPR.

4. it is highly possible that there can be a condition that u r bound to work with that employer who selected u for atleast 2 to 3 years until u get ur Citizenship.

now the thing to fear is, even though u r fulfilling 67 points and everything....but u will be hanged for 2 years until unless some employer finds u worth for PR.....now suppose some other applicant is more qualified than u, so even though u r fulfilling everything, that applicant will be preferred over u. so in that case u will just sit and wait for some miracle to happen. u never know if u gona be selected or not. the express entry doesn't guarantee ur entrance as PR into Canada, what it does is it will reduce the timings under 4 months.
