Yes, they should. I had some conversation with the officer in charge and he told me that DMP prerocesses PCC If at least one address printed on passport is from Dhaka. It was 4-55 months back and I hope the rule still exists. Best of luck

Hi all...my application was returned in august and i had sent rectified application again and it reached on 4th september. Just want to know is there any chance of getting it reject again due to other reason? I mean rejection was due to birth certificate issue. Can i assume all other documents are in order? So if i have sent rectified application can they reject for other reason? Can i assume other completeness check is perforned and other documents are perfect?

I have received my PER a month ago and waiting for my MR...... in between, my wife's passport has been reissued in lieu of damaged passport.....
Now what to do?

Thanks

It is not a big issue. You can either send the copy of new passport right now or provide it to them once you get MR request.

Hello

My application is on the way and in cover letter i have mentioned two NOC like 2171 and 4011 as my wife has 2 years of exp in 2171 and 3.5 years in 4011.
I just checked 2071 reached his 1000 mark and 4011 is still there.

Will CIO consider my application for 4011 ?

What NOC is written on the envelope? If it is 2071 they may return it without opening.
And as far as I know you can not apply 2 NOC in 1 application. It should be 2 different applications.

CIC Website Guide 7000 refers :

Translation of documents

Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:

the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
a certified copy of the original document.
Note: An affidavit is a document on which the translator has sworn, in the presence of a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the translator is living, that the contents of their translation are a true translation and representation of the contents of the original document. Translators who are certified members in good standing of one of the provincial or territorial organizations of translators and interpreters of Canada do not need to supply an affidavit.

Important information: Translations by family members are not acceptable.

Certified true copies

To have a photocopy of a document certified, an authorized person must compare the original document to the photocopy and must print the following on the photocopy:

“I certify that this is a true copy of the original document”,
the name of the original document,
the date of the certification,
his or her name,
his or her official position or title, and
his or her signature.
Who can certify copies?

Persons authorized to certify copies include the following:

In Canada:

a commissioner of oaths (authority to certify varies by province and territory)
a notary public
a justice of the peace
Outside Canada:

a judge
a magistrate
a notary public
an officer of a court of justice
a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the person is living
Family members may not certify copies of your documents.

****** In above passage what do i understand ?????

Only the document which are translated from any other language to English Language need to be certified. If candidate want to keep original true certified copy then he need to send copies of true certified copy duly attested , notarized and with affidavit.

That stately clears you dont need to notarized all the document.

I thought to share and get ideas from seniors.

Thanks guys

Reposting pls .....

Hello Everyone :

Just out of curiosity, do we get any physical notification from CIC for our file? If yes, when is that sent out ?

I know in instance of when the email id is missing on forms then the PER notification is sent thru physical mail. Does anyone know of any other instance? Your reply will be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi KSA
Any predictions for 2132 based on latest update which is 596 apps. When will it be capped?

Everyone whose application has not been DD’ed or CC’ed, please note that if it is not DD’ed or CC’ed before 31st Dec, 2014, you might be dumped into the Express Entry pool of applications starting on 1st Jan 2015 or at least you will be offered either of the two options 1)return you back your application without charging you OR 2)-Transfer your application to Express Entry pool of applications.

Read below wordings of Minister of Immigration Alexander on CBC:-

Express entry could be offered to skilled immigrants who have put in an application through the federal skilled worker program (FSWP), the federal skilled trades program (FSTP), the Canadian experience class (CEC), and a portion of the provincial nominee program"Alexander said on Wednesday.

Thanks for your explanation. in my case my CC was charged and I am waiting for PER. How big are chances to get NER instead of Per, if the CC already has beed charged?

and, above was mentioned that someone was charged and then got his docs back? What was the reason? and did he get his money back?

once u r charged.....ur money are non refundable.......normally people who are charged do receive PERs.....atleast this year no one has got rejected after being charged. so if u r charged......sit back and relax, u will have ur PER.

but again once charged......and if someone got rejected later on medical basis at last stage of application......then the fees is not refunded.
