My application reached Sydeny on 10th November. How can I know if it has been accepted or rejected ?

u have to wait 3 months on avg to know about ur app status. if u get confirmation of ur payment deduction then ur app is in.....else u have to wait for PER......otherwise if in case it gets back or returned or rejected then also u will get it after 3 to 4 months.

older jobs may not be..
but they have 3rd party options to do cross checks..

I think apps. Are checking by 3rd part option for randomly but not mandatory for every application; is it? Futhermore, I want to know whether CIC would use 3rd party option at CIO Sydney, NS level or at VO/CHC level? Please confirm me accordingly.....!

there were some confusion on Vamshi previous posting itself can you clarify that too, like whether to take medical or not? due to this reason many forum folks are little sceptical

Dear XYZ
This is in reference to your application for permanent residence. To finalize your application, we
require:
1) Passports
 Please provide passports or travel documents for yourself and each accompanying
dependant, along with a copy of this letter, to the visa office in New Delhi. Please see the VFS
Visa Application Centre (India) website for details on how to transmit your passports to the
Canadian High Commission: http://www.vfsglobal.ca/Canada/India/.
 Please note that permanent resident visas cannot be placed in Diplomatic, Official or Military
passports.
 There must be at least two blank pages in each passport.
 We are unable to issue a visa beyond the expiry date in your passport. You passport must be
valid for at least six months.
2) Photographs
 Please provide two (2) recent photographs along with your passports for yourself and each
accompanying dependent. For instructions on photo requirements and specifications, see:

We are presently in Canada and VO is New Delhi We are in stage Medicals Received If we get passport request - then how we can approach to send passport

Do we need to change VO to Canada at this stage?
Or do we need to fly and take leave for 1 month and be in India till Visa is stamped?

Seems I will have issue with PCC...MY MRP shows Permanent address at Meherpur and Emergency contact is the Dhaka address where I currently live.. Does DMP one stop service accept this type of application?? any experince? i am planning to apply tomorrow... If i dont get PCC does SGVO will still issue my visa??? Fyi in my permanent addreas nobody lives..... Piklu99cse

Ist Post of page no 9,500. Just 500 more to go for the elusive 10,000 mark. (now not so elusive after all)


The FSW14 program will run upto April 30th 2015 unless it is cut short by a revised ministerial instruction. So apps can be sent in January as well. However to be on the safer side you need to send apps by 31st Dec 2014.
1. Gold cannot be shown as Settlement funds. It can only be shown under assets. If you want to show this as Settlement funds, sell the gold and keep proceeds as FD or in bank balance.
2. If points are already more than 67, he can apply right away. Else to be on the safer side regarding points, wait for IELTS scores, keep all docs ready except the IELTS result. On 21st Dec when you have the IELTS result in hand, attach it to the prepared application set and dispatch through UPS immediately so that it reaches before 31st Dec 2014.
In my view he should apply immediately though.
